The Provincial Government of Cavite has announced the suspension of classes in both public and private schools at all levels in the entire province tomorrow, Wednesday, 19 August 2026, due to the continuous heavy rainfall and adverse weather conditions brought by the Southwest Monsoon.

August 18, 2026 — Led by OIC School Principal Aries B. Manalo, TMCNHS Hugo Perez Extension remains committed to ensuring learning continuity as face-to-face classes are suspended for another day due to the expected heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

With Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 128, s. 2026, relative to the continuous heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon, ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS in government offices and ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY MODES for classes are to be implemented appropriately in the Province of Cavite and among others tomorrow, Tuesday, 18 August 2026.

August 17, 2026 — TMCNHS Hugo Perez Extension and other schools across DepEd Cavite Province are closely monitoring alternative delivery modes (ADM) as face-to-face classes remain suspended due to the continuous heavy rainfall and inclement weather conditions brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
