Hugo Perez Elementary School-Annex joined the Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 18, 2026, at exactly 9:00 a.m., reaffirming its commitment to disaster preparedness and the safety of all members of the school community.

The drill was spearheaded by Dr. Marlene Panganiban, TMC I PSDS, Dr. Naidz Salazar Humarang Lumagui, School Principal IV, together with Mr. Fernando Joson Jr., SDRRM Coordinator, who initiated the proper implementation of earthquake response procedures. Through discipline and teamwork, learners and personnel effectively carried out the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” technique and practiced systematic evacuation measures designed to enhance readiness during emergency situations.

Hugo Perez Elementary School-Annex recognized the Best Implementers of Conducive Classrooms during the Flag Raising Ceremony on June 15, 2026. The recognition highlighted the teachers’ dedication to maintaining clean, organized, and learner-friendly classrooms.

The activity was initiated by Dr. Naidz Salazar Humarang Lumagui, School Principal IV, together with Dr. Marlene Panganiban, PSDS TMC I.

Hugo Perez Elementary School-Annex successfully conducted a School Orientation on the DepEd ILAW Lesson Planning Framework to strengthen teachers' instructional planning and classroom practices.

The activity was led by Dr. Naidz Salazar Humarang Lumagui, School Principal IV, together with Dr. Marlene Panganiban, PSDS TMC I, who guided teachers in understanding the key provisions of DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2026 and the proper construction of the ILAW lesson plan.

Hugo Perez Elementary School-Annex successfully underwent the Division Monitoring on School Readiness and Safety for Opening of Classes for School Year 2026–2027 on June 11, 2026, led by Dr. Naidz Salazar Humarang Lumagui, School Principal IV, together with Dr. Marlene Panganiban, PSDS TMC I, and Ruben H. Faltado III, CESE, OIC – Assistant Schools Division Superintendent.

HPES-Annex continues to uphold its mission of providing quality, accessible, inclusive, and learner-centered education by working collaboratively with stakeholders toward continuous improvement and excellence.

Hugo Perez Elementary School-Annex successfully conducted its State of the School Address (SOSA) and Parents’ Orientation for School Year 2026–2027 on June 10, 2026 after school hours.

Hugo Perez Elementary School-Annex formally commenced School Year 2026–2027 through a Flag-Raising Ceremony held on June 8, 2026.

Under the leadership of School Principal IV, Dr. Naidz Salazar Humarang Lumagui and TMC I PSDS, Dr. Marlene Panganiban, the activity reflected the unity, collaboration, and commitment of the entire school community.

Brigada Eskwela 2026 highlights unity and partnership at HPES-Annex

Through the spirit of bayanihan and community partnership, various stakeholders extended their support to Hugo Perez Elementary School-Annex during the conduct of 5 day Brigada Eskwela 2026 in preparation for the opening of classes on June 8, 2026.

Parents, volunteers, and community partners actively participated in school clean-up, repair, and maintenance activities to ensure a safe, clean, and learner-friendly environment for all pupils.

The successful implementation of the activity was led by Brigada Eskwela Coordinator Mr. Jayson P. Manaud and Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) Coordinator Mr. Solbert F. Sazon Jr. under the guidance and leadership of School Principal IV, Dr. Naidz Salazar Humarang Lumagui and with the support of PSDS TMC I, Dr. Marlene Panganiban.

The school expresses its heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders whose unwavering cooperation and generosity contributed to the success of Brigada Eskwela 2026.

HPES-Annex strengthens Brigada Eskwela Advocacy through BUSINA Kabitenyo 2026 led by School Principal IV, Dr. Naidz Salazar Humarang Lumagui and TMC 1 PSDS, Dr. Marlene Panganiban.

HPES-Annex officially commenced the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program on June 1, 2026, anchored on the theme “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman.”

This opening program is spearheaded by School Principal IV, Dr. Naidz Salazar Humarang Lumagui together with TMC1 PSDS, Dr. Marlene Panganiban.
