Maranlig National High School officially launched the Brigada Eskwela Kick-off Ceremony, embracing this year’s theme: "Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan: Tungo sa De-Kalidad na Edukasyon".
This meaningful event brought together teachers, parents, students, alumni, and community partners, all united by the spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility to prepare our school for the upcoming academic year. Every sweep, repair, and contribution we make today is a powerful act of love and commitment toward creating a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment where every learner can thrive. Let us continue to work hand-in-hand, knowing that our collective effort builds not just classrooms, but a strong foundation for the future of our youth. Together, we prove that when a community cares, no challenge is too great, and every child is given the best chance to learn, grow, and succeed.

“PROPER PLANNING LEADS TO SUCCESS”:

MARANLIG NHS HOLDS FIRST FACULTY MEETING FOR SY 2026-2027

Mrs. Rosalie M. Pernia, Head Teacher I of Maranlig NHS believes that proper planning and clear directions are the foundations of a successful school year.

She initiated the first faculty meeting last May 21, to prepare the school, the teachers and the students for the coming opening of classes . She stressed that good preparation ensures smooth operations and quality education.

Some of the agenda discussed are as follows.

✅ DepEd Reforms & Policies – Updated staff on new guidelines to align with national standards.
✅ Class Schedule – Finalized time allotment, assignments, and teaching loads.
✅ Brigada Eskwela – Discussed work plan, timeline, and tasks to ready school facilities.
✅Other matters


Mrs. Pernia commended everyone’s cooperation and encouraged everyone to be more motivated and inspired. With plans set and materials distributed, Maranlig NHS is fully ready for another productive year. 📚🏫

IN Frame.18 Teachers of Maranlig National High School attend the ORIENTATION ON LEARNING SYSTEMS REFORM POLICIES of the Department of Education on May 20 at Poctoy National High School.

This orientation aims to achieve the following objectives. First,to orient teachers about the new updates, changes, and directions in the education system,. Second, to fully understand the policies and guidelines regarding the Learning Systems Reforms.Third, to align our teaching practices with the regional and national standards set by DepEd and lastly, to ensure that quality and relevant education is delivered to every learner.

This opportunity helped our teachers gain better knowledge and clear understanding of the new policies, ensuring that we are ready to implement them correctly for the benefit of our students. 👩‍🏫📚

👏 APPRECIATION POST:
INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

Maranlig National High School gives her sincere thanks and recognition to our School Head, Mrs. Rosalie M. Pernia, for her great efforts, initiative, and wise leadership.

Because of her hard work and constant follow-ups to get funding from DepEd, the following important repairs and improvements are now finished.

🏗️ COMPLETED PROJECTS:

✅ Repair of SHS Building Roofs
The roofs of the Senior High School building, which were destroyed by typhoons and broken for many years, are now fully repaired and replaced.

✅ Repair of School Office Roof and Ceiling
The damaged roof and ceiling of the school office are now fixed, giving us a safe and proper working place.

✅ Repair of Ceiling at JHS Facade
The ceiling at the Junior High School facade was repaired and improved, making the school entrance look better and safer.

✅ Repair of Broken Fence near the Gate
The broken parts of the fence near the main gate are now fixed and strong again for better security.

💡 WISE MANAGEMENT OF SCHOOL FUNDS
We also admire her intelligent management of the school’s MOOE funds. She makes sure that every budget is used properly and spent on projects that truly benefit the students and the school.

To all students, parents, and guardians,

After the school cleanup activities, Maranlig National High School will officially conduct the enrollment from June 1 to June 5, 2026 at the School Office. Please look for Ms. Erika Mae P. Pastoral for assistance and inquiries.

Please take note of the following requirements and instructions based on your grade level:

✅ Grade Incoming Grade7 & Grade 11 Students:
Kindly bring your Report Card and PSA Birth Certificate upon enrollment.

✅ Grade 8, 9, 10 & Grade 12 Students:
Please secure your Form 9 first at the School Office before proceeding with enrollment.

Ang Maranlig National High School ay kumakatok sa inyong mabubuting mga puso.
upang makilahok sa Brigada Eskwela mula ika1 -5 ng Hunyo 2026 at maging bahagi ng pagbabago.

Inaanyayahan namin ang mga g**o, mga mag-aaral, mga magulang, mga alumni, mga volunteers at iba pang stakeholders na makiisa sa taunang paglilinis ng ating paaralan.

Maari din tayong magdala ng mga kagamitan sa paglilinis gaya ng walis, itak, dustpan, pandilig at iba.

In Frame: Culminating Activity on Student Mentoring Action for Reading Transformation (SMART) Reading Program

Today, Maranlig National High School holds the culmination of hard work, perseverance and dedication of fifteen beneficiaries of the schools reading program and three tutors as they showcased their acquired knowledge in speech choir, creative reading and poem recitation.This activity was initiated by Mrs. Rosalie M. PERNIA, Head Teacher I which was launched in the first week of January. This program aims to address the reading difficulties and improve their literacy skills of the learners.

A BIG THANK YOU is extended to Mrs. Libherlyn L. Rondina for her generosity in sharing school supplies to our learners.

Also, to the supportive parents who attended the program especially to Hon. Melvin P. Regalado , for their precious time despite a hectic schedule.

Lastly, to the young readers for their extra effort and time extended in reading.Continue reading for a better future.
