BEd Campus: (082) 298-2808, 0951-070-5914 It started as a High School since the nearest high school during that time was 15 kilometers away. It is a non-sectarian school that caters to all

students from all walks of life. It adopted the motto, β€œLIVE, LOVE and LIGHT” with Jesus Christ as the inspiring model for living. The existence of DCC was greatly challenged by two separate fire incidents that completely razed the school in 1959 and 1991. After the first incident, other members of the corporation gave up but Mr. Advincula had the courage and vision to go on. Since then, DCC never ceased from continuing on with its services to the community. The year 1973 marked the beginning of College programs with the Bachelor of Arts as the first-course offering. Today, DCC has elementary and high school programs, Sunday High School, Week-End College, BSED, BEED, BSBA, BSHRM, BSAct, BSCrim, BSIT and Technical-Vocational courses. In 2006, it was granted LEVEL 1 accredited status by the ACSCU-ACI for the Elementary, High School, and the College of Education programs. In 2010, it was granted Level 2 for the Elementary, High School, and BSED and BEED programs and in 2012, BSBA program is granted Level 1 accredited status. DCC continues to respond to the needs of the times by recruiting more competent faculty and staff, as well as appropriate and relevant programs at the tertiary level.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Heightened Security Measures
To the DCC BED Community:

As we resume our Face-to-Face Classes, please be informed that heightened security measures will be implemented within the school premises to ensure the safety and well-being of all learners and school employees.
As part of these measures:

1. Bag inspection is mandatory for all learners, parents/guardians, school employees, and visitors upon entry to the school premises.

2. Body frisking will be conducted as part of our security procedures, with due respect for the dignity, privacy, and safety of everyone.

3. Separate lines for male and female learners and employees will be strictly observed during security checks.

4. Please arrive early, as longer-than-usual lines and waiting times are expected due to the enhanced security procedures.

5. Learners and employees are encouraged to use transparent or clear backpacks/bags, whenever possible, to facilitate faster and more efficient security checks.

6. Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to check their child’s bag and belongings before leaving home.

7. Everyone is reminded to bring only the necessary school materials, work-related items, and personal belongings needed for the day.

8. Prohibited, unnecessary, or suspicious items must not be brought onto school premises.

9. Everyone is encouraged to immediately report any unusual or concerning item or behavior to a teacher, adviser, security personnel, or school administrator.

10. Increased Personnel Visibility with Security Guards, Criminology Interns, and dedicated Barangay Personnel deployed within the school premises.

We believe that safety and security start at home and are reinforced in school. Everyone has a shared responsibility in keeping our school community safe.

These measures are implemented not to make our learners or employees feel suspected or uncomfortable, but to protect everyone and maintain a safe and secure environment.

We sincerely ask for the cooperation, understanding, and support of our learners, parents, guardians, teachers, and all school employees as we strengthen our safety and security protocols.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
