Heave away—the expedition has begun! ⚓

Avast! The most dangerous treasure on the high seas has arrived: The Truth. ?‍☠️

Behold and see, a testament to our integrity and a product of pure grit. The Sail newspaper has begun its expedition anew. This edition was hauled from the depths by a crew that pours their soul into every headline. We are sailors of the story, hardened by long watches in the dead of night and fueled by the fire of the hunt.

We’ve spent countless hours hunched over our desks like navigators over ancient maps, meticulously charting every layout and bracing against the fatigue of the journey. It is a product of blood, sweat, and tears—made by sailors who value grit over easy silence and purpose over the safety of the shore.

We’ve weathered the storms of censorship and the gales of doubt to bring you a paper that stands tall. We set sail with pens sharpened like cutlasses and our principles bolted to the mast. The Sail is on the move—staunch, resolute, and ready to serve the truth. No quarter for lies, and no silence for the bold!

Belated Happiest birthday to our ever-dedicated school paper adviser, Ms. Ginny Abiertas. We’re beyond grateful for everything you do for us—from the times you stay late just to teach, guide, and support us, to the effort you put into bringing honor to our school. Thank you for always being patient with us and for creating moments where we don’t just learn, but also laugh and bond together. Those shared conversations, jokes, and simple moments mean more to us than you know. And of course, your goofiness never fails to light up every room you enter. We’re truly blessed to have you.

Most Arrdently,
Your The Sail family

Stay safe and dry, Nolascians!

: Upon the recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MCDRRMC), I am ordering the suspension of all face-to-face classes in all levels, both public and private schools in the City of Manila, on Monday, 10 November 2025.

This is due to the expected impact of Typhoon , which may bring heavy rainfall, strong winds, and possible flooding to our city.

All schools are directed to shift to Alternative Delivery Modes of Learning to ensure the continuity of education while keeping students and personnel safe.

Everyone is advised to stay alert, monitor official weather updates, and take all necessary precautions.
