The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) has signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Filipino Inventors Society (FIS) to help inventors protect their intellectual property (IP) and move further in commercializing their technologies here and abroad.

As part of the agreement, will empower FIS to offer IP expertise to its members, provide technical assistance through the Inventor Assistance Program (IAP), offer support on enforcement matters, and strengthen connections between FIS members and agencies that can enhance inventors' visibility in both local and international markets.
