🔌 TYPES OF USB CABLES – Know your cables!

Confused about different USB ports? Here’s a quick guide to the most common USB cables and where they’re used 😍

1. USB Type-A

The most common USB connector

Found on computers, keyboards, mice, flash drives, and chargers

2. USB Type-B

Mostly used for printers, scanners, and some external devices

Has a square-shaped connector

3. USB Type-C

Newer, faster, and reversible (can be plugged in either way)

4. Micro USB

Hello Torresians!

Today marks the distribution of our report cards, and I know this moment brings out many emotions. Some of you might be proud and excited, while others may feel disappointed or frustrated with the results you received. And that is completely okay. It is normal to feel that way.

To those who achieved the grades they were aiming for, congratulations. Your dedication, focus, and perseverance have paid off, and you truly deserve to celebrate your hard work. Keep that momentum going and continue striving for excellence.

For those who did not reach the goals they set for themselves, remember this: one grading period does not define your entire journey. There is still another quarter ahead, another chance to improve, grow, and show what you are capable of. Do not lose hope. Believe in yourself, trust your progress, and use this moment not as a reason to give up but as motivation to work harder and bounce back stronger.

Your grades are not a measure of your worth, your intelligence, or your potential. They are simply numbers that reflect where you are right now, not where you can be. What truly matters is your willingness to try, to learn, and to continue rising after every challenge.

So keep going, Torresians. Believe that you can improve, because you can. Believe that you can make a comeback, because many of you will. And believe that you are more than your report card, because you truly are.

To the entire FTHS Community (Students, Parents, Faculty, and Staff):

Your safety is our absolute priority. As Super Typhoon Uwan continues to pose a significant threat to our region, we are issuing this critical advisory to ensure everyone is prepared.

As of 8:00 A.M. today (November 9, 2025), PAGASA has officially placed Metro Manila under 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗡𝗢. 3. This is due to the intense, sustained rainfall and destructive winds associated with the typhoon, which is currently making its presence felt across the Bicol Region.

ℹ️ URGENT PAGASA WARNING: PAGASA has noted that due to the rapid intensification of Super Typhoon Uwan, there is a high possibility that Signal No. 4 may be raised over NCR in the next bulletin. This would mean more severe, typhoon-force winds and a higher risk of significant damage and flooding.

As a reminder from our previous announcement, all classes (public and private, all levels) and government work are suspended for November 10-11, 2025. Your focus should be on safety and preparedness, not schoolwork.

Let us all remain calm, vigilant, and cooperative. Look out for your family, your friends, and your neighbors.

In light of the serious threat posed by Super Typhoon Uwan, and to prioritize the safety and well-being of the Filipino people, Malacañang has declared a suspension of classes and government work.

The Office of the President, through Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin, has officially ordered the following:

SUSPENSION: Classes for 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 & 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 10–11, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

SCOPE: ALL CLASS LEVELS (from Kindergarten to Graduate School), in both PUBLIC AND PRIVATE institutions.

This suspension covers both face-to-face classes and online/distance learning modules to allow students and faculty to focus on safety preparations.

WORK: Work in all GOVERNMENT OFFICES is also suspended.
