ᕼᗩᑭᑭY ᐯᗩᒪOᖇ ᗪᗩY, mga 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 🇵🇭❤️⚔️

🪖 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆, also known as "𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻", occurs every 9th of April, a day served to commemorate the fallen 🇵🇭 Filipino and 🇺🇸 American 🎖️"Heroes of Bataan" that valiantly defended the Bataan Peninsula against Japanese soldiers during World War II.

🪖 During the World War II, after General Douglas MacArthur left the Americans and the Filipinos with a promise of extra troops, planes, and supplies during the battle of Bataan—they surrendered on April 9, 1942, after the promises never materialized. Troops in Bataan was left widely defenseless and suffered diseases, wounds, hungers, and a lot of casualties, leading them to surrender.

🪖 Right after, the Bataan death march began, forcing around 60,000-80,000 Filipino and American prisoners of war to march through the Philippines, with a route of about 65 miles long (105 km). The prisoners of war were forced to walked through harsh environments, tropical conditions, enduring heat and rain with adequate medical care. The prisoners who were unable to walk were either killed, beaten, or beheaded.

🪖 This day is served to commemorate those who were a part of the battle, to 🕯️remember and 🌟 honor their sacrifices, bravery, and resilience against the Japanese soldiers✊. Thus, let us all celebrate this day, be thankful and grateful for our fallen soldiers🕊️.

📚✨Beyond Challenges: The Filipino Pursuit of Academic Excellence through Reading Literacy Program✨📚

Last December 1, 2025, we proudly celebrated the culmination of our English Month—a meaningful journey filled with learning, creativity, and self-expression. Throughout the month, students showcased their talents through various activities that strengthened their confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking. Each performance, contest, and participation reflected not only skill but also dedication, teamwork, and a deep appreciation for the English language.

This culminating activity serves as a reminder that language is more than just words—it is a powerful tool for communication, understanding, and connection. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the participants, organizers, teachers, and supporters who made this celebration successful and memorable. May the lessons learned and the passion for language continue to inspire us to express our ideas clearly, think creatively, and use our voices responsibly beyond English Month.
