DZRSCSOF Hosts District Taekwondo Athlete Selection for 2026 Area 1 Meet
The Daniel Z. Romualdez State Comprehensive School of Fisheries (DZRSCSOF) proudly hosted the District Taekwondo Athlete Selection for the Elementary and Secondary levels of the Municipality of Tolosa, Leyte on August 7, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
The activity gathered aspiring taekwondo athletes from different schools across the district who showcased their skills, discipline, and determination as they vied for a slot to represent the Tolosa District in the upcoming 2026 Area 1 Meet.
The selection was honored by the presence of Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA) RMC8A Adviser, Sir Jerauld Lirios, whose invaluable guidance and support contributed to the successful conduct of the event.
The school extends its sincere appreciation to Ma'am Raquel Sudario Advincula-Paredes for her invaluable support and facilitation in making the activity possible. Likewise, heartfelt gratitude is extended to the PTA Licensed National Referees for ensuring that the selection was conducted fairly, objectively, and in accordance with the rules and standards of the Philippine Taekwondo Association.
Congratulations to all the athletes who successfully earned a place in the Tolosa District Taekwondo Team. They will represent the district in the 2026 Area 1 Meet, which will be held on September 6 to 8, 2026. May this achievement serve as an inspiration to continue training with dedication, humility, and excellence as they prepare for the next level of competition.
The school also expresses its heartfelt gratitude to all parents and guardians whose unwavering support, encouragement, and sacrifices continue to inspire our young athletes to pursue excellence both in sports and in life. Your partnership plays a significant role in every milestone they achieve.
To the athletes who were not able to secure a slot in this year's delegation, your courage to step onto the mat and give your best is already a victory in itself. Every competition is a valuable learning experience that strengthens both character and skill. Continue to train with determination, embrace every challenge as an opportunity to improve, and never lose sight of your goals. Your time to shine will surely come.
DZRSCSOF commends all participating athletes, coaches, officials, referees, parents, and stakeholders whose collective efforts made this activity a meaningful and successful undertaking.
