𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: Toledo City Councilor Ricardo “Kuya Nick” Pepito donated 300 t-shirts to Talavera Elementary School (TES) on Monday, August 10.

The said donations were personally delivered by barangay councilor Yvner Fritz Castro.

In attendance during the turnover were TES Principal Dr. Lariz Mae Uy and Assistant Principal Loreto Salutan III.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: The faculty of Talavera Elementary School received lapel amplifiers on Thursday, August 13.

The distribution of lapel amplifiers followed concerns raised by teachers about health problems, including voice strain after teaching for more than six hours a day.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: Talavera Elementary School (TES) conducted its annual Intramurals on Saturday, August 8, 2026, bringing together student-athletes from Grades 4 to 6 for a day of sports, teamwork, camaraderie, and school spirit.

Themes “School Intramurals 2026: Building Champions Through Sports and Teamwork,” the event featured several sporting competitions, including tennis, volleyball, chess, track and field, and basketball. The activities provided learners with an opportunity to showcase their athletic skills while developing discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.

The participating student-athletes represented their respective grade-level teams: the Blue Dragons of Grade 4, the Red Lions of Grade 5, and the Yellow Panthers of Grade 6.

Student-athlete and sixth grader Chezthan Niño Roldan, representing the Yellow Panthers, had the honor of lighting the Urn of Unity, symbolizing friendship, unity, and fair play among the participating teams.

TES Principal Dr. Lariz Mae Uy and Assistant Principal Loreto Salutan III, together with the teaching staff, were present to encourage and support the young athletes throughout the activities.

Winners of the said sporting events will represent TES in the upcoming Cluster Meet in September 2026.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Barangay Talavera donated an air conditioner (AC) unit to Talavera Elementary School (TES) on August 7.

The AC unit was personally delivered by Barangay Talavera Captain Hon. Jaypee Dela Cerna, and barangay councilors Hon. Francisco Canoy and Hon. Harvy Selma.

TES Principal Dr. Lariz Mae Uy and Assistant Principal Loreto Salutan III expressed their appreciation for the support the barangay has always provided to TES.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Education Program Specialist Engr. Edwin Jo Jardin is at Talavera Elementary School (TES) monitoring the School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) session on August 7 with the faculty members of Kindergarten and Grades 1 to 3.

Jardin was welcomed by TES Principal Dr. Lariz Mae Uy and Assistant Principal Loreto Salutan III.

Newly installed TES Principal Dr. Lariz Mae Uy and newly installed assistant principal Loreto Salutan III were welcomed by the faculty and staff of TES as they officially took their respective roles.

Also in attendance were Barangay Talavera Captain Jaypee Dela Cerna and education committee chair Francisco Canoy.

Talavera Elementary School (TES) welcomes 𝗗𝗿. 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘇 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗥. 𝗨𝘆, our newly installed School Principal, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗼 𝗕. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗜𝗜, our newly installed Assistant Principal, as they officially assume their respective roles today, August 1.

Today, we entrust TES to our new captains--skillful sailors--who will help navigate our school community through new horizons, guiding us farther and further toward greater achievements and success.

We at TES are hopeful and excited for the meaningful programs and transformative policies you will initiate. May you lead the entire TES community with love, compassion, wisdom, and clarity.
