TCSHS Holds 2nd GPTA Meeting and 2nd Quarter Card Distribution

Despite the rainy weather, Toledo City Science High School (TCSHS) successfully conducted its 2nd General Parents-Teachers Association (GPTA) Meeting alongside the 2nd Quarter Card Distribution on December 12 at 2:30 pm.

The meeting was led by Mrs. Christy B. Alfeche, the newly appointed School Principal, who discussed important matters with the parents. Among the key topics were the school parking area project which will be realized through the help of the stakeholders.

Mrs. Alfeche also shared updates on school development, stating that she will continue and complete the projects initiated by the previous principal. The school further sought financial support for upcoming student contests and an initial announcement of the school prom scheduled on February, with more details to be discussed soon.

After the meeting, distribution of report cards and recognition of students were held in their respective classrooms.

Hoops and Hustle: Inter-School Basketball Tournament Opens at Luray II

Toledo City, Philippines – The excitement was palpable today as the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments officially commenced at the Luray II Barangay Hall. The event brought together talented athletes from Cluster 1 schools, showcasing sportsmanship and community spirit.

The opening games featured intense matchups between both men’s and women’s teams, drawing enthusiastic support from students, faculty, coaches, and local residents. The tournament aims to foster camaraderie among schools while promoting physical fitness and teamwork.

Local officials and school representatives expressed their commitment to sustaining youth engagement through sports. The competition will continue over the coming days, with winners advancing to the next stage of the inter-school league.
