Luray II National High School students and staff drop, cover, and hold during a surprise earthquake drill in the afternoon of December 17, 2025. Personnel from city DRRM office, fire department, coast guard, and DepEd Toledo’s DRRM team led the exercise, followed immediately by the evaluation and feedback sessions to sharpen disaster preparedness.

F2F CLASSES ARE SUSPENDED ON DECEMBER 5

The mayor has suspended the face-to-face classes in both public and private schools in the city for tomorrow, December 5, 2025, due to Tropical Depression Wilma. This suspension will persist until further notice from the mayor.

Classes will shift to Alternative Delivery Mode.

We would like to inform you that our revised class schedule and modified room assignments will take effect as follows:

Schedule Update:

Grades 9 and 10 will follow the revised schedule and room assignments starting today.

Grades 7, 8, and 12 will follow the revised schedule and room assignments starting next week.

Grade 11 will remain in their present schedule and room assigned to them.

Please review the most recent schedule and room assignments that have been provided. Teachers Advisers will assist students in locating their classes to ensure a smooth transition.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience while we make these adjustments.

Dear parents and students,

Luray II National High School is happy to share that we will begin the gradual resumption of face-to-face classes starting November 17, 2025. This follows Executive Order No. 79, s. 2025 and DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2024.

To ensure everyone’s safety—especially in case of sudden earthquakes—the school will be using ONLY first-floor classrooms for all grade levels and sections. Please check the schedule and room assignments.

Students who cannot attend due to typhoon effects, health conditions, or other valid reasons may continue their learning through Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM).
Teachers will provide modules or online tasks, and parents are encouraged to coordinate with class advisers regarding their child’s situation.

If face-to-face classes are suspended, teachers will automatically shift to ADM to ensure learning continues smoothly.

We thank all parents and students for your cooperation as we work to keep everyone safe and learning. Let us continue supporting each other as we return to school.

Dear students and parents,

We are happy to announce that Luray II National High School will gradually resume face-to-face classes nextweek, November 17-21, 2025, following the directive under Executive Order No. 79, s. 2025 and in coordination with DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2024.

Below is the class schedule for each grade level:

Grade 7 – Monday & Tuesday | 8:00 AM – 11:45 AM
Grade 8 – Monday & Tuesday | 12:00 PM – 3:45 PM
Grade 9 – Wednesday & Thursday | 12:00 PM – 3:45 PM
Grade 10 – Wednesday & Thursday | 8:00 AM – 11:45 AM
Grades 11 & 12 – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

For students who are unable to attend face-to-face sessions due to typhoon effects, health concerns, or other valid reasons, Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) will still be available. Learning materials, modules, or online tasks will be provided to ensure continuous learning.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to coordinate with class advisers for any concerns about their child’s learning mode or schedule.

In case of suspension of face-to-face classes due to weather or emergencies, teachers will automatically shift to ADM to avoid disruption.
