EARLIER this afternoon, we had the privilege of hearing from the incredible Police Corporal Mrs. Niña Martha Alqueza , who shared invaluable insights on the intersection of Gender and Development and the fight against Violence Against Women and Children.

In partnership with Barangay Daanlungsod , we gathered to learn, reflect, and commit to building a safer, more equitable community.

The College of Education of the University of the Visayas Toledo City Campus officially opened its three-day CoEd Days 2026 celebration today, March 4. Anchored on the theme “𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚: 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝘽𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨”, this year’s festivities proudly highlight the much-anticipated Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest 2026.

Representatives from the Basic Education (Green Clubs), Bachelor of Elementary Education (Red Hearts), Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English (Yellow Spades), and Bachelor of Secondary Education majors in Social Studies and Filipino (Blue Diamonds) showcased their talents and skills as they took the stage for this year’s pageantry.

‎The College of Education, in collaboration with the Social Studies Club (SocSciety), conducted a successful symposium as an awareness advocacy to enlighten students and combat the stigma against Hepatitis B. The discussion was led by 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀—𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠. 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗶𝗻, who emphasized the importance of early testing, vaccination, and responsible health decisions.
