The University is conducting a series of orientation activities for Grades 7–12 to formally welcome students and provide them with essential information, guidance, and expectations for the academic year.

The orientation sessions aim to familiarize learners with school policies, academic requirements, student support services, classroom expectations, co-curricular programs, and other important matters that will contribute to their successful transition and holistic development in their respective grade levels. Through these activities, the University reaffirms its commitment to fostering a supportive, engaging, and productive learning environment for all students.

With the official opening of classes on June 8 fast approaching, it is time to prepare for a new year of learning and achievement. Make sure you are wearing the correct school uniform for your grade level by checking the requirements in the images.

📌 Reminder:
🪪 School ID must be worn at all times.
⏳ New and transferee students are given a one-month grace period to complete and wear their official school uniform.

The University of the Visayas has officially opened nominations for the Outstanding Visayanian Alumni Award, recognizing graduates who have demonstrated excellence, leadership, and meaningful contributions to society.

Eligible alumni are encouraged to submit nominations within the announced period, as the university prepares to honor distinguished Visayanians in a formal awarding ceremony on June 12, at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino Grand Ballroom.
