Sama-sama ang buong sambayanan sa pagbati at pagbibigay pugay sa ating mga dakilang g**o ngayong araw!

Sa ilalim ng temang "Gurong Pilipino: Dangal ng Sambayanang Pilipino," ang taunang selebrasyon ng National Teachers' Day ay naglalayong pataasin ang kamalayan ng bawat isa sa kahalagahan ng papel ng mga g**o sa pagbuo ng isang matatag at maunlad na bansa.

Tunghayan ang mga gaganaping aktibidad para sa National Teachers' Day 2022, sa pangunguna ng DepEd Cordillera Administrative Region at SDO Abra, mamayang 7:00 AM sa opisyal na page, YouTube channel, at website ng DepEd Philippines.

Ang pangunahing dahilan ng paghinto sa pag-aaral ng mga kababaihan ay pag-aasawa o pag-alaga sa pamilya habang pangangailangan ng trabaho naman para sa mga kalalakihan.

Sa pamamagitan ng ALS Program, maaaring magpatuloy ang mga out-of-school youth and adults (OSYAs) ng pag-aaral sa elementary, junior high school o senior high school kahit may trabaho, pamilya o iba pang responsibilidad sa tahanan.

𝗢𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗗

The Department of Education has proposed a budget of P532 Million for SPED for FY 2023.

Unfortunately, despite our earnest efforts to advocate for our learners with special needs, it was not considered in the National Expenditure Program (NEP). This is true for two other programs that were excluded from the NEP.

This is a recurring circumstance every year, and DepEd is not at a loss because we always work with members of Congress to find other ways to fund DepEd programs.

In the past years, DepEd has likewise made efforts within the organization to ensure that programs are supported.

This statement is released with the hope of clarifying and addressing malicious and misleading reports that DepEd deliberately excluded funding for the Special Education Program.
