2ND QUARTER NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL 🚨

June 18, 2026 | 9:00 AM

Iloilo Central Elementary School actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill to promote disaster preparedness and ensure the safety of our learners and personnel.

The Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill is conducted quarterly across the Philippines under the guidance of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) and the Office of Civil Defense (OCD). This activity aims to strengthen preparedness and response capabilities during earthquake emergencies. Participants practice the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure, followed by proper evacuation and assembly protocols.

📍 Remember: Duck, Cover, and Hold! Safety begins with preparedness.

Through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and practical exercises, our learners gained valuable knowledge and confidence in Basic First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS).

📢 Iloilo Central Elementary School officially kicked off Brigada Eskwela 2026 with the theme, “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman.”

Through the collective efforts of teachers, parents, stakeholders, volunteers, and community partners, we continue to build a safe, clean, and learner-friendly school environment.

At the same time, the Learners' Rights and Protection (LRP) Desk is now open to assist with concerns related to child protection, anti-bullying, and learners' welfare. Together, let us ensure that every child is protected, valued, and empowered to learn and succeed.
