🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️RISE, RUN, AND PLAY! 🏅

Gumhang Elementary School proudly participated in the 2026 Tinoc District Athletic Meet, embracing this year’s inspiring theme: “Rise, Run and Play: Choose Sports Over Gadgets.”

Through this event, our young athletes showcased not only their skills, determination, and sportsmanship but also the importance of staying active, healthy, and engaged in meaningful activities. Their participation reminds us that the joy of movement, teamwork, discipline, and friendship goes beyond the screens of our gadgets.

We commend our student-athletes, coaches, teachers, parents, and supporters for their dedication and unwavering encouragement. May this experience inspire our learners to rise above challenges, run with determination, and play with passion.

🇵🇭 PAGDIRIWANG NG BUWAN NG WIKA 2026🇵🇭

Buong sigla at pagmamalaki na nakiisa ang Gumhang Elementary School sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika ngayong Agosto 2026. Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay nagsilbing mahalagang pagkakataon upang maipakita ng ating mga mag-aaral ang kanilang pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino, kulturang Pilipino, at ating pambansang pagkakakilanlan.

Bilang pagpapakita ng kanilang pakikiisa, ang bawat baitang ay naghanda at naghandog ng kani-kanilang mga makabuluhang aktibidad at presentasyon na sumasalamin sa yaman ng ating wika at kultura. Sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga pagtatanghal, awit, tula, sayaw, malikhaing gawain, at iba pang presentasyon, naipamalas ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang talento, pagkamalikhain, at pagmamahal sa sariling wika.

Ang bawat presentasyon ay hindi lamang pagpapakita ng talento, kundi isang pagpapahalaga sa ating pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino. Sa sama-samang pakikilahok ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, at buong komunidad ng paaralan, naging makulay at makabuluhan ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika.

Nawa’y magsilbing paalala ang pagdiriwang na ito na ang wika ay buhay na bahagi ng ating kultura at pagkakakilanlan. Patuloy nating gamitin, mahalin, at pagyamanin ang wikang Filipino—hindi lamang sa buwan ng Agosto, kundi sa bawat araw.

Maligayang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika!

Ngayong buwan ng Agosto, ang Mababang Paaralan ng Gumhang ay buong pusong nakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika—isang makabuluhang pagkakataon upang ipagmalaki, pahalagahan, at higit pang pagyamanin ang wikang Filipino bilang mahalagang bahagi ng ating kultura, kasaysayan, at pambansang pagkakakilanlan.

Buong pagmamalaking pinangunahan ng mga mag-aaral ng ika-6 na
Baitang ang lingguhang Flag Ceremony, na naging makabuluhang paggunita sa kahalagahan ng wikang Filipino bilang puso ng ating kultura, kasaysayan, at pambansang pagkakakilanlan.

Bilang tampok sa programa, pagkatapos ng introduction ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan Ng Wika ay naghandog ang mga mag-aaral ng isang kahanga-hangang Interpretative Number na sumasalamin sa pagmamahal, pagpapahalaga, at pagmamalaki sa ating sariling wika at kulturang Pilipino.

Patuloy nating ipagdiwang at pagyamanin ang ating wikang pambansa, sapagkat "Ang wikang Filipino ay ating pagkakakilanlan, ating pamana, at ating kinabukasan."

July 31, 2026 | Turnover Ceremony and Oath-Taking of the Newly Elected PTA, SGC, and SELG Officers

Today, Gumhang Elementary School successfully conducted the Turnover Ceremony and Oath-Taking of the newly elected officers of the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA), School Governing Council (SGC), and Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG). This meaningful event marks the beginning of a new chapter of leadership, collaboration, and shared commitment to advancing the welfare of our learners and the entire school community.

A highlight of the ceremony was the oath-taking, which was officiated by Barangay Captain Hon. Junie V. Duyapat.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our outgoing officers for their invaluable service, dedication, and contributions to our school. Your efforts have helped strengthen our school community and laid a solid foundation for future leaders.

To our newly elected PTA, SGC, and SELG officers, congratulations! Today, July 13, 2026, we were honored by the visit of Barangay Kagawad Ricky Guelas, Chairperson of the Committee on Education, who shared an important reminder with our learners about the significance of regularly attending daily flag ceremony.

He emphasized that the flag ceremony is more than a school activity—it is a meaningful opportunity to express respect for our national symbols, honor our country's history, and deepen our understanding of what it means to be a Filipino. Through active participation, our learners develop discipline, unity, patriotism, and love for our nation.

Today, July 6, 2026, Gumhang Elementary School (GES) proudly joined the National Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony in observance of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award. Through this meaningful activity, our learners and personnel stood together in reaffirming our commitment to patriotism, national unity, and respect for the rule of law.

Marking a decade of victory through law, not force. The July 12, 2016 Arbitral Award affirmed that the Philippines can defend its maritime rights peacefully, through United Nation Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), evidence, and principled action. It protects coastal communities, livelihoods, and one of the world’s richest marine environments, reminding us that sovereignty is also about food security and future opportunities for every Filipino family. Ten years on, its message is clear: principles matter, lawful action matters, and a rules-based order benefits all nations.
