The ARAL implementation, conducted from the last week of October 2025 until February 2026, was successfully carried out through after-class sessions in the afternoon for identified learners from Grades 1 to 6. With four classes handled by four dedicated ARAL Volunteer Teachers, the program served as a meaningful initiative in strengthening foundational skills and supporting learnersโ€™ continuous growth.

โœจ Hands-on Learning Beyond the Classroom โœจ

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Alano Andres for accommodating our Grade 6 learners together with Teacher Hilda A. Dagyo, through the coordination of our School Head, Mr. Gabriel K. Diplat, and for generously sharing his skills in metal welding at his workplace.

He demonstrated the proper way of welding metals and provided a short briefing before allowing the learners to experience it themselves. The activity filled the learners with excitement and joy as they explored a real-world skill through hands-on learning.

Opportunities like this help enrich our learnersโ€™ experiences and support the development of practical life skills for their holistic growth.

โœจ Strengthening Partnerships in Teacher Education โœจ

IFSU Tinoc Campus proudly partners with Impugong Elementary School (Impugong ES) in shaping future educators through pre-service training. Four student-teachers are currently deployed at Impugong ES as part of their field experience and practice teaching journey.

Last February 11, they conducted their Initial Demonstration Teaching, showcasing their preparedness, creativity, and passion for teaching. The activity was observed and guided by their supervising instructor, Ms. Marites Choycawen, together with the school head, Mr. Gabriel K. Diplat.

This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to mentoring aspiring teachers and ensuring quality education for every learner.

We warmly congratulate Teacher Keryl Mae C. Belingon on her well-deserved promotion from Teacher I to Teacher III and her new assignment at Tinoc Central School (Tinoc CS). Her dedication and passion for teaching have truly made a difference at Impugong Elementary School (Impugong ES).

At the same time, we welcome Teacher Hilda A. Dagyo, who has transferred from Tukucan Elementary School (Tukucan ES) to Impugong Elementary School. She will now be handling the Grade 6 class previously under Teacher Keryl.

The turnover ceremony held last February 1, 2026 marked a meaningful transition โ€” a celebration of growth, service, and continuity in providing quality education to our learners.

Big moments today at Impugong Elementary School. As we bid farewell to our beloved Teacher Nelia Dulnuan, who's been an incredible leader and educator. Thank you Teacher Nelia Dulnuan for your tireless efforts and dedication to our school community.

And, we're super excited to welcome our new teachers, Teacher Marluz Lacbongan Nehyeban and Teacher Marigold Pauhan. We're looking forward to the fresh ideas, energy, and passion you'll bring to our Impugong learners. Welcome to the family.

๐ŸŒŸ ๐ŸŒŸ ๐ŸŒŸ We are proud to announce that Impugong ES attained a National Achievement Test (NAT) MPS of 49.65, ranking 95th out of 212 elementary schools in Ifugao!
Hereโ€™s a look at our performance by subject:
โ€ข Filipino: 46.19
โ€ข Mathematics: 56.69
โ€ข English: 64.81
โ€ข Science: 48.25
โ€ข Araling Panlipunan: 32.30
While we celebrate our achievements, we also recognize the areas where we can grow until we obtain 50% or higher NAT MPS.

Education is a shared journey, and the support of parents, teachers, local government, and the community is key to helping our learners reach their fullest potential.
