“Every Smile Matters, Every Child Belong”
TIAONG, QUEZON | AUGUST 17, 2026

Celebrating Inclusion, Friendship, and Joy
Claro M. Recto Memorial Central School (CMRMCS), in partnership with the Rotary Club of Tiaong Circle, took part in a meaningful and joyful Fun Day for SNED Learners held at the Tiaong Town Plaza on August 17, 2026.

The activity provided a welcoming space where learners with special educational needs could enjoy fun-filled experiences, build friendships, and celebrate their unique abilities in an atmosphere of acceptance and belonging.
With the inspiring theme, “Every Smile Matters, Every Child Belong,” the event highlighted the importance of creating inclusive opportunities where every learner is valued, supported, and given the chance to participate and shine.

The presence of parents, teachers, learners, and partners made the celebration even more special. Their smiles, laughter, and active participation reflected the true spirit of inclusion—that every child deserves to belong, to be celebrated, and to experience joy.

The activity was facilitated by Corazon “Odah” Castillo, with PE Vhiben Macam as Project Chair and PND2 Raj Magbuhos as Co-Chair.

A Celebration Beyond Fun

The Fun Day served as a beautiful reminder that inclusion goes beyond providing educational support. It is also about building communities where children feel accepted, respected, and celebrated for who they are.

CMRMCS extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Rotary Club of Tiaong Circle, Lusacan Elementary School, parents, teachers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this special gathering possible.

Together, we continue to build a community where every smile matters and every child belongs.

Claro M. Recto Memorial Central School proudly joined the 48th National Disability Rights Week Celebration through a meaningful Disability Awareness and Sensitivity Training.

This two-day activity strengthened our commitment to promoting awareness, inclusion, respect, equal opportunities, and the rights of persons with disabilities. Together, we continue to build a community where every learner is valued, accepted, empowered, and given the opportunity to shine.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Vincent RJ Mea, Konsehal Tom P. Ilao, and Mam Rosette Rodriguez Lopez for your unwavering support for disability inclusion and our SNED community.

A special thank you to our amazing Resource Persons—Sir Ven Villanueva, Mam Myra Dural, Mam Josephine Josef, Mam Fareena, and Sir Jojit Negrosa, PDAO of City of San Pedro—for sharing your valuable knowledge, experiences, and insights.
