“Going Forward: Rejoicing in God’s Goodness on His Holy Sabbath”

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.— **Exodus 20:8**

As we gather for our second Sabbath worship and teachers' get-together during the Beginning of the School Year, we pause to thank God for His goodness and faithfulness throughout the past six days. He has blessed us with strength, wisdom, protection, and unity as we prepared for another year of service in education.

This Saturday , we set aside our secular work and enter the sacred hours of the Sabbath—the Lord’s holy day. The Sabbath is a special time to rest, worship, and experience God’s presence. It reminds us that our work is important, but our relationship with God is even more important.

As teachers, we are grateful for the opportunity to fellowship together, encourage one another, and renew our commitment to serve both God and the young people entrusted to our care.

Ellen G. White reminds us:
“The Sabbath is a golden clasp that unites God and His people." (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 6, p. 349)

May this Sabbath draw us closer to God and to one another. As we begin this school year, let us move forward with thankful hearts, trusting that the One who guided us through the past week will continue to lead us in the days ahead.

The Sabbath is the Lord’s day—a day to remember His goodness, enjoy His presence, and be renewed for His service.🌷
