📚✨ AYUSAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CELEBRATES NATIONAL READING MONTH! ✨📚

November 28, 2025

Ayusan Elementary School joyfully celebrated National Reading Month with a series of fun and meaningful literacy activities for all learners. Each day, our pupils joined the Daily D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read), where everyone paused for 15 minutes to enjoy a good book.

Throughout the celebration, learners participated in exciting activities such as a Word Hunt in Filipino, an English Spelling Bee, Poster Making for intermediate pupils, and Bookmark Making for the primaries. There were also storytelling sessions for younger learners and poem recitations for the intermediate grades.

The celebration ended with a colorful Character Costume Parade, followed by the awarding of winners from each competition held in their classrooms. We also enjoyed a visit from our guest storyteller and performer, Rhiyana Marie Duropan, and a special book sale and storytelling by Pandayan Bookshop.

This month truly strengthened our culture of reading and highlighted the creativity, confidence, and growing literacy skills of our learners. Let’s continue raising readers here at Ayusan Elementary School! 💛📘

Ayusan Elementary School proudly took part in the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women today! 🧡

With PNP Tiaong and the Rotary Club of Tiaong, our students, teachers, and some parents gathered for a meaningful program promoting respect, safety, and protection for every woman and children.

PCpl Kingsley A. Calingasan, PCR PNCO, shared important reminders about the misuse and abuse of illegal substances and drugs. PMSg Catherine G. Magtibay, WCPD, discussed the realities of VAWC and the importance of safeguarding women and children.

A special highlight of the day was the turnover of the Hand Washing Facility donated by the Rotary Club of Tiaong, along with hand soaps for the children of Ayusan ES, strengthening our school’s commitment to health and hygiene.

Thank you to our partners for empowering our community. Together, we stand for a violence-free, drug-free, and healthier future! 🧡✨

Kahapon, masayang ipinagdiwang ng Ayusan Elementary School ang Learners’ Day sa pamamagitan ng isang cheerful kick-off program! Nagkaroon ng awarding para sa mga batang nagpakitang-gilas sa Zumbastic Learners’ Day Zumba Dance—grabe ang energy nila! 💃🕺✨

Sa classrooms naman, puno ng creativity at inspiration ang activities: My Dream Wall, drawing of their future self, fun games, motivating film viewing, at paggawa ng reflection at letter to their future self. 🎥📝🌟

🛑 Ayusan ES Joins the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 🏫🌏
Last November 7, 2025, Ayusan Elementary School actively participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill. Teachers, learners, and school personnel took part in practicing the proper duck, cover, and hold procedure, followed by a careful evacuation to designated safe zones.

With the guidance of school leaders and emergency focal persons, the drill ran smoothly and safely. Learners showed discipline and alertness, proving how important preparedness is in keeping everyone safe during emergencies. 🚨🧒👧

This activity strengthens the school’s commitment to disaster readiness and ensures that our students know what to do in real-life situations. Safety first, always! 💪🌟

🌿 Project ROOTS: Ayusan ES Tree Planting Activity 🌳
Last November 7, 2025, Ayusan Elementary School carried out a meaningful Tree Planting Activity to promote environmental awareness and beautify our school grounds. The event was made possible through the support of Barangay Captain Celso Fernando, the Barangay Ayusan officials, and the active leadership of our school principal. 💚

The activity brought together various student organizations—YES-O, SELG, BKD, Red Cross Youth, GSP, and YECS—along with their advisers, plus classroom presidents and vice presidents from different grade levels. ✨

Participants proceeded to their assigned planting areas where they joyfully planted and watered seedlings provided with the help of the barangay. Students, teachers, and leaders showed real teamwork, responsibility, and excitement as they worked side by side. 🌱🤝

Overall, the tree planting event was meaningful and well-coordinated, strengthening the partnership between the school and the barangay, while highlighting the principal’s commitment to raising environmentally responsible learners. 🌎💚

🌍 Ayusan ES Science Fair 2025 🌟
Last October 24, our learners and teachers joyfully capped off Science Month with a meaningful clean-up drive around the school.

Nag-recycle ang mga bata, naglinis ng paligid, at nag-ambag sa isang mas maaliwalas na campus. ♻️💚

Hindi lang ’yan—nagtanim din sila ng crops at nag-maintain ng school garden, showing real care for the environment and sustainable living. 🌱🌾🌼

Pinangunahan naman ni Ma’am Wenreal Comia ang Science Exhibit kung saan na-discover ng mga bata ang internal body parts, amazing animal facts, at Earth and Space. 🤩🧠🐾✨

Nag-enjoy pa ang mga estudyante sa educational videos at excited nilang shinare ang mga bagong natutunan nila. 🎥📚
