Subject: No Face-to-Face Classes on August 20, 2026 – Building Inspection and Safety Assessment

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and Faculty Staff:

Greetings!

Following the recent inclement weather and heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), and in consideration of the safety and welfare of our learners, faculty, and staff, Philsin College Rizal, Inc. will have NO FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES tomorrow, Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Although the severe weather conditions have already passed, the school administration will utilize the day to conduct a thorough inspection and safety assessment of the school buildings, classrooms, facilities, electrical systems, drainage areas, and other school premises to ensure that these are safe and suitable for the resumption of regular face-to-face classes.

To ensure the continuity of learning, all classes shall shift to the school's Alternative Mode of Learning through Quipper and other authorized online learning platforms.

All teachers are directed to provide their respective learners with the necessary lessons, activities, instructions, and learning materials through Quipper and to maintain appropriate communication with their classes during the scheduled learning period.

Parents and guardians are respectfully requested to monitor and guide their children in accomplishing their assigned learning activities at home.

This temporary arrangement is being implemented as a precautionary safety measure to allow the school administration to properly assess the condition of the school premises following the recent adverse weather conditions. The safety of our learners, faculty, staff, and the entire school community remains our highest priority.

Further announcements regarding the resumption of face-to-face classes shall be issued through the school's official communication channels after the completion of the inspection and safety assessment.

Subject: No Face-to-Face Classes on August 19, 2026 – Shift to Alternative Mode of Learning

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, Faculty Staff:

Greetings!

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129 from the Office of the President, and in view of the continuing effects of the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), please be informed that Philsin College Rizal, Inc. will have NO FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

In accordance with the recommendation for the implementation of Alternative Modes of Delivery of Learning (AMDL) for all public and private schools in the Municipality of Teresa, all classes shall continue through the school's Alternative Mode of Learning using Quipper and other authorized online learning platforms.

All teachers are directed to:

Provide the necessary lessons, learning materials, activities, and instructions through Quipper;
Maintain appropriate communication with their respective classes during the scheduled learning period; and
Monitor learners' participation and completion of assigned learning activities.

Parents and guardians are respectfully requested to monitor and guide their children in accessing Quipper and accomplishing their assigned learning activities at home.

This arrangement is being implemented to ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety and welfare of our learners, faculty, staff, and their families amid the prevailing weather conditions.

In view of Memorandum Circular No. 127 issued by the Office of the President, Malacañang, and due to the continuous heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat):

FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES FROM 12:00 NN ONWARDS SHALL SHIFT TO ALTERNATIVE MODE OF LEARNING.

Students who are already inside the school premises Shall be properly dismissed and released following the school's safety and dismissal procedures.

CLASSES FROM 12:00 NN ONWARDS SHALL BE CONDUCTED THROUGH QUIPPER / ALTERNATIVE MODE OF LEARNING.

Teachers shall provide the necessary lessons, activities, and instructions through the prescribed learning platform.

Parents and guardians are requested to coordinate accordingly and ensure the safe travel of their children going home.

In accordance with the recommendation of MDRRMO Teresa and DepEd Teresa, and due to the continuing effects of the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), Philsin College Rizal, Inc. will have no face-to-face classes tomorrow, Tuesday, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Classes shall instead be conducted through Quipper Mode of Learning and other authorized online learning platforms to ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety of our students, teachers, and personnel.

Although our area is no longer under a Yellow Rainfall Warning, occasional heavy rainfall is still expected and may occur intermittently and in scattered areas. As a precautionary measure, teachers are advised to exercise flexibility in the delivery of learning activities and to consider the circumstances of students who may experience unstable internet connectivity, power interruptions, flooding, or other weather-related difficulties.

At the same time, we shall continue to observe and practice HAYO • HINAY • HINGA • HINTO as our guide for the continuation of learning during emergencies, with the safety and well-being of our students and teachers as our foremost priority.

Everyone is advised to remain vigilant, continue monitoring official announcements from the school and the local government, and always prioritize safety.
