Philsin College Rizal, Inc. (PCRI) proudly welcomed the Municipal Police Officers during its Monday Morning Flag Ceremony, headed by the School Principal, MAIZA S. ORBILLO, with the special participation of PMAJ RODIARD S. DELA PEÑA, Chief of Police, and his fellow police officers.

The ceremony became more meaningful as PMAJ Dela Peña delivered an informative and inspiring lecture emphasizing school safety, crime prevention, emergency preparedness, and the importance of building positive relationships between students and police officers.

During his discussion, the Chief of Police encouraged learners to recognize police officers as trusted partners in maintaining peace, order, and safety within the school and community.

📱🚨 ONE SWIPE FOR SAFETY: INTRODUCING THE SOS EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM!

One of the highlights of the program was the introduction of the SOS Emergency Alert Application, an innovative safety tool designed to provide immediate notification to police personnel during emergencies, threats, violence, or other dangerous situations.

Through a simple swipe, the automated system can send an emergency alert to police officers, helping facilitate a prompt response when assistance is urgently needed.

This initiative reinforces the importance of awareness, preparedness, technology, and cooperation in creating a safer and more secure learning environment for every learner.

The PCRI administration, under the leadership of School Principal MAIZA S. ORBILLO, together with the faculty, staff, and students, extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation to PMAJ RODIARD S. DELA PEÑA and the Municipal Police Officers for sharing their valuable knowledge, time, and commitment to the safety and welfare of the school community.

🎭 BACHELOR OF CULTURE AND ARTS EDUCATION (BCAEd)
• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education (BCAEd) or an equivalent degree in Culture and Arts.
• Must have a Master’s Degree in Culture and Arts Education, Arts Education, or a directly aligned field.
• Must be a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT).

♿ BACHELOR OF SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION (BSNEd) – GENERALIST
• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNEd), Bachelor of Special Education, or an equivalent degree in Special Education.
• Must have a Master’s Degree in Special Education, Special Needs Education, or a directly aligned field.
• Must be a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT).

🧸 BACHELOR OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (BECED)
• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) or an equivalent degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Must have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a directly aligned field.
• Must be a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT).

💻 BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY AND LIVELIHOOD EDUCATION (BTLEd) – ICT
• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd), major/specialization in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), or an equivalent ICT teacher-education degree.
• Must have a Master’s Degree in ICT, Technology Education, or a directly aligned field.
• Must be a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT).

🏃 BACHELOR OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION (BPEd)
• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Physical Education, or an equivalent degree in Physical Education.
• Must have a Master’s Degree in Physical Education or a directly aligned field.
• Must be a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT).

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
✓ Must be a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT).
✓ Relevant college teaching experience is an advantage.
✓ Must demonstrate competence in teaching, research, and other academic responsibilities.
✓ Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees must be appropriately and vertically aligned with the program and courses to be handled, consistent with applicable CHED requirements.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Subject: No Face-to-Face Classes on August 20, 2026 – Building Inspection and Safety Assessment

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and Faculty Staff:

Greetings!

Following the recent inclement weather and heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), and in consideration of the safety and welfare of our learners, faculty, and staff, Philsin College Rizal, Inc. will have NO FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES tomorrow, Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Although the severe weather conditions have already passed, the school administration will utilize the day to conduct a thorough inspection and safety assessment of the school buildings, classrooms, facilities, electrical systems, drainage areas, and other school premises to ensure that these are safe and suitable for the resumption of regular face-to-face classes.

To ensure the continuity of learning, all classes shall shift to the school's Alternative Mode of Learning through Quipper and other authorized online learning platforms.

All teachers are directed to provide their respective learners with the necessary lessons, activities, instructions, and learning materials through Quipper and to maintain appropriate communication with their classes during the scheduled learning period.

Parents and guardians are respectfully requested to monitor and guide their children in accomplishing their assigned learning activities at home.

This temporary arrangement is being implemented as a precautionary safety measure to allow the school administration to properly assess the condition of the school premises following the recent adverse weather conditions. The safety of our learners, faculty, staff, and the entire school community remains our highest priority.

Further announcements regarding the resumption of face-to-face classes shall be issued through the school's official communication channels after the completion of the inspection and safety assessment.

Subject: No Face-to-Face Classes on August 19, 2026 – Shift to Alternative Mode of Learning

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, Faculty Staff:

Greetings!

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129 from the Office of the President, and in view of the continuing effects of the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), please be informed that Philsin College Rizal, Inc. will have NO FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

In accordance with the recommendation for the implementation of Alternative Modes of Delivery of Learning (AMDL) for all public and private schools in the Municipality of Teresa, all classes shall continue through the school's Alternative Mode of Learning using Quipper and other authorized online learning platforms.

All teachers are directed to:

Provide the necessary lessons, learning materials, activities, and instructions through Quipper;
Maintain appropriate communication with their respective classes during the scheduled learning period; and
Monitor learners' participation and completion of assigned learning activities.

Parents and guardians are respectfully requested to monitor and guide their children in accessing Quipper and accomplishing their assigned learning activities at home.

This arrangement is being implemented to ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety and welfare of our learners, faculty, staff, and their families amid the prevailing weather conditions.

Everyone is advised to remain vigilant, avoid unnecessary travel, monitor official weather advisories, and await further announcements from the school regarding the resumption of face-to-face classes.
