LAWAK INTEGRATED SCHOOL HOLDS HOMEROOM PTA MEETING AND REPORT CARD DISTRIBUTION

LAWAK, TAYUG, PANGASINAN — Lawak Integrated School strengthened its partnership with parents and teachers through the conduct of the Homeroom PTA Meeting and Showing of Report Cards held on September 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the school premises.

The activity brought together parents, teachers, and learners in a meaningful gathering centered on the academic progress, development, and well-being of the pupils. Parents actively participated in the meeting, reflecting the continuing commitment of the school community to work together in supporting learners.

A significant part of the activity was the showing of report cards, which provided parents with an opportunity to be informed about their children’s academic performance and classroom progress. Teachers were able to communicate relevant observations and provide guidance on how parents can further support their children’s learning at home.

Beyond grades and academic results, the gathering emphasized the importance of open communication, cooperation, and shared responsibility between home and school. Through the Homeroom PTA, parents and teachers are given a venue to discuss matters affecting learners and strengthen initiatives that contribute to a safe, supportive, and productive learning environment.

The successful conduct of the activity once again highlighted the spirit of partnership that defines the Lawak Integrated School community—where children, parents, and teachers work together toward a brighter tomorrow.

LAWAK IS TEACHERS STRENGTHEN SKILLS THROUGH KEY STAGE 1, 2 & 3 INSET TRAININGS

LAWAK INTEGRATED SCHOOL — Teachers of Lawak Integrated School actively participated in various In-Service Training (INSET) and district-level professional development activities designed to strengthen instructional practices, enhance content knowledge, and equip educators with appropriate strategies and learning resources for different key stages.

For Key Stage 1, teachers took part in the District Training Orientation on ARAL Enhancement and Key Stage 1 Language Mapping (Kindergarten–Grade 3). The training focused on strengthening foundational language skills and supporting the implementation of the ARAL Program through appropriate language mapping, assessment, and targeted learning interventions.

Meanwhile, teachers handling Key Stages 2 and 3 (Grades 4–10) participated in the District In-Service Training on Enhancing Mathematics and Science Instruction Through GBF Learning Materials cm Development of Multilevel Learning Materials. The activity emphasized the effective use of learning materials in improving Mathematics and Science instruction while encouraging teachers to develop multilevel resources responsive to learners' diverse abilities and learning needs.

These professional development activities provided Lawak IS teachers with opportunities to learn, collaborate, share best practices, and develop innovative instructional materials that can be brought directly into their classrooms.

Through continuous professional development, the Lawak Integrated School teaching force remains committed to improving the quality of instruction and ensuring that every learner receives meaningful, responsive, and inclusive learning experiences.

Learning never stops—especially for teachers who continue to learn so their learners can learn better.

LAWAK INTEGRATED SCHOOL BRINGS CAREER GUIDANCE 2026 HOME

Career dreams continued to take shape at home as the learners of Lawak Integrated School participated in the Career Guidance Program 2026 despite the suspension of face-to-face classes.

Following the announcement of the Municipal Government of Tayug to shift classes to alternative learning modes due to the anticipated heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the school community responded with flexibility and commitment. Instead of gathering in school, learners took part in the Career Guidance activities from the safety and comfort of their homes.

Through the support of their teachers and parents or guardians, learners were encouraged to reflect on their interests, strengths, skills, and aspirations and to think about the careers they may pursue in the future. The activity provided an opportunity for them to understand that choosing a career is a journey that begins with knowing oneself, setting goals, and making informed decisions.

Although the activity was conducted remotely, the enthusiasm of the learners remained evident. Their participation demonstrated that learning and career preparation can continue anywhere—even at home.

Lawak Integrated School, through its dedicated teachers and school leadership, remains committed to guiding learners toward meaningful choices and brighter futures.

LAWAK INTEGRATED SCHOOL JOINS GALAW-INDAK PANGASINAN II FROM HOME

September 4, 2026 | Lawak Integrated School, Tayug, Pangasinan

Despite the unexpected shift to alternative learning modalities, the spirit of unity, movement, and healthy living remained alive at Lawak Integrated School as learners participated in the Culminating and Launching Kick-Off Program of Galaw-Indak Pangasinan II right from their homes.

Following the announcement of the Municipal Government of Tayug suspending face-to-face classes due to the anticipated heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the school embraced the situation with flexibility and creativity. Instead of gathering at school, pupils were encouraged to join the activity safely from home.

Through the guidance and encouragement of their teachers and families, learners showcased their energy and enthusiasm by performing the prescribed Galaw-Indak Pangasinan II movements. The photos captured the young participants actively dancing and exercising, proving that learning and wellness can continue beyond the four walls of the classroom.

The activity highlighted an important message: bad weather may change the venue, but it cannot stop the school community from moving together toward a healthier and more active lifestyle.

Lawak Integrated School remains committed to supporting programs that promote physical fitness, well-being, discipline, and camaraderie among learners, while always placing their safety first.
