It is my great honor to introduce Grain of Wheat College and Graduate School, an institution founded to raise up workers who possess the spirituality of the martyrs,the character of Christ, and the ability to transform the world through faith, knowledge, and service.

Grain of Wheat College and Graduate School began as theElijah International World Mission Institute.
In 2010, following the clear guidance of God to
"Establish a school that will dedicate itself to the evangelization of the Philippines, Asia, and the Islamic world,"we prepared for two years, and in 2013 the school was officially approved by theCommission on Higher Education (CHED), Republic of the Philippines,as a higher education institution under the nameElijah International World Mission Institute.

In 2015, the Graduate School was also approved by CHED.The first academic programs approved were:
• Bachelor of Arts in Theology
• Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education

The campus includes:
• A 7-story main building
• A convention center with seating capacity of 2,500
• Swimming pool and supporting facilities
• Library, laboratories, computer rooms, chapel, and dormitory.
Our library contains more than 47,000 volumes, including rare books collected from the United Kingdom,and donated books from
• University of Maryland
• Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
• Public Library of San Francisco
The faculty consists of professors holding doctoral degrees and qualified instructors
approved by the Department of Education.

Philosophy of Education
The vision of Grain of Wheat College is not only to teach theology,but to train leaders who can serve the world through multiple disciplines:
• Theology
• Education
• Engineering
• Technology
• Medicine
• Missions
We seek to raise self-supporting missionaries, global leaders, and indigenous ministerswho will serve in regions where the gospel is urgently needed.
We also provide training for Filipino overseas workers and Asian leaderswho desire to remain in the mission field and serve locally.

We believe in the wisdom of the Scriptures:
“Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
— Proverbs 22:6
And also in the wisdom of the Talmud: “The world stands on three things:on Torah, on worship, and on deeds of loving-kindness.” Pirkei Avot 1:2
True education must form the mind, the spirit, and the character.

Mission

• To connect churches, mission agencies, and institutions worldwide
• To train leaders across cultures and denominations
• To raise workers for unreached people groups
We believe that Asia, where Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism coexist, must hear the Gospel before the return of Christ.
Therefore, this institution integrates:

Wrapped in a purple, black, white, and gray motif, we come together as one college community to celebrate the beauty and depth of “The Unfolding Gift of Grace.”
Purple reflects royalty and hope, reminding us of Christ the King. Black and gray speak of life’s struggles and uncertainties, while white shines as the promise of redemption, purity, and new beginnings. Together, these colors tell a powerful story - just like grace itself: unfolding, transforming, and ever-present.

This Christmas Fellowship is more than a gathering; it is a moment to pause, reflect, and rediscover how God’s grace meets us in every season of life.
