It is my great honor to introduce Grain of Wheat College and Graduate School, an institution founded to raise up workers who possess the spirituality of the martyrs,the character of Christ, and the ability to transform the world through faith, knowledge, and service.
Grain of Wheat College and Graduate School began as theElijah International World Mission Institute.
In 2010, following the clear guidance of God to
"Establish a school that will dedicate itself to the evangelization of the Philippines, Asia, and the Islamic world,"we prepared for two years, and in 2013 the school was officially approved by theCommission on Higher Education (CHED), Republic of the Philippines,as a higher education institution under the nameElijah International World Mission Institute.
In 2015, the Graduate School was also approved by CHED.The first academic programs approved were:
โข Bachelor of Arts in Theology
โข Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education
The campus includes:
โข A 7-story main building
โข A convention center with seating capacity of 2,500
โข Swimming pool and supporting facilities
โข Library, laboratories, computer rooms, chapel, and dormitory.
Our library contains more than 47,000 volumes, including rare books collected from the United Kingdom,and donated books from
โข University of Maryland
โข Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
โข Public Library of San Francisco
The faculty consists of professors holding doctoral degrees and qualified instructors
approved by the Department of Education.
Philosophy of Education
The vision of Grain of Wheat College is not only to teach theology,but to train leaders who can serve the world through multiple disciplines:

We seek to raise self-supporting missionaries, global leaders, and indigenous ministerswho will serve in regions where the gospel is urgently needed.
We also provide training for Filipino overseas workers and Asian leaderswho desire to remain in the mission field and serve locally.
We believe in the wisdom of the Scriptures:
โTrain up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.โ

And also in the wisdom of the Talmud: โThe world stands on three things:on Torah, on worship, and on deeds of loving-kindness.โ Pirkei Avot 1:2
