The Cooperative Learning School of Taytay, Inc. , a wholly owned subsidiary of Taytay Development Cooperative, was opened during the school year 2003 - 2004, It was established mainly for the idea of serving the preschool educational needs of its members' children. Having only seven ( 7 ) students for a start, classes were first conducted in the group floor of Z & V Building where the Coop rented
its office during that time. On the first quarter of the school year 2004 - 2005, TADECO and CLSTI transferred to its new home at Batong Dalig, San Juan, Taytay, Rizal. Elementary education courses were then offered and recognizwd by the Department of Education. In 2006, CLSTI rented a portion of the lot nearby by Mr. & Mrs. Melencio Macabuhay and had a 4 - classroom building fenced and constructed by TADECO with a contract to occupy the said building for ten years. Along with these developments, the opportunity to have a new property to put up its own building came and the Board decided to purchase a 400 square meter lot near the Coop premises. Construction of a multi - level building was approved by the Board and the first level would be finished by July or August 2006. The edifice would be furnished with air conditioned rooms for children, complete with all the amenities for a wholesome learning experience. Further expansion and teaching upgrades are first on the next list of plans for the next school Board to undertake. Like the "steadfast of a spider, weaving its cobweb," the CSLTI will continue to strive to reach new heights and fortify its resolve in giving quality and value for money education not only to its members' children but to the growing community as well, and in the promotion and development of the cultural, social and physical aspects of life.
