Wondering what makes our Sugarcane Bagasse Containers sustainable & circular? πβ¨
Here's a diagram illustrating the life cycle of Sugarcane Bagasse Containers; from the Sugarcane harvest, production, use, biodegradation & composting, and back to the soil for regrowth & regeneration. π±
Sugarcane bagasse containers are made from bagasse fibers, the by-product of sugarcane harvesting and production.
These fibers are then turned into pulp to be molded into containers. This process uses up the least amount of energy for production, compared to cardboard / paper, plastic, and polystyrene containers.
It is also a more rapidly renewable resource compared to other packaging materials, making it more eco-friendly. π

The goal of a more sustainable future can only be achieved if we shift from the traditional linear economic model of 'take-make-waste' into a circular economic model that ensures repair, reuse, and recirculation of products, materials, and resources.
This holiday season, as we shop for gifts, prepare care packages, or get that last budol (π₯΄) of the year, we encourage everyone to keep these concepts in mind. βΊοΈ
Let's shop more mindfully, get only what we really need and buy products that will help us close the loop! π
