Today, our school community proudly participated in the 2nd Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), demonstrating once again our commitment to safety, preparedness, and resilience in times of emergencies. 💪🏽

With the guidance of our dedicated teachers, staff, disaster risk reduction and management group and senior scouts, our students and teachers actively took part in the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, practicing the proper actions to take when an earthquake strikes. From classrooms to offices, everyone took the drill seriously, showing discipline and awareness that can truly save lives in real situations. 🏫✅

This meaningful activity was led by our School Head, Dr. Jayson O. Antazo, with the support and assistance of our Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Group (DRRMG) members headed by Sir Rudymil B. Bellen. Their leadership and efforts ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the drill. 👏👏

This activity is more than just a routine exercise—it is a vital reminder that preparedness is everyone’s responsibility. Living in a country prone to natural disasters, it is essential that we equip ourselves with the knowledge and skills to respond quickly and effectively. Completing the team was 𝐈𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐚 𝐌. 𝐀𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐏𝐒𝐃𝐒 – 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭, who remains a pillar of support for schools within the district, ensuring that policies and programs are carried out with excellence and integrity.

This significant visit warmly accepted by our dedicated 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐈, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐎. 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐳𝐨, whose dynamic and service-oriented leadership ensured the smooth facilitation of the monitoring visit. Through his proactive coordination, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, the school was well-prepared to showcase its readiness for the opening of classes.

The visit focused on monitoring the implementation of school opening activities, including class preparedness, safety protocols, learning resource availability, and the overall readiness of both teachers and learners. Through classroom observations, walkthroughs, and meaningful conversations with school personnel, the team was able to assess current practices while also providing valuable feedback and encouragement.

This monitoring activity is not only a compliance measure but also a testament to the shared goal of ensuring that every learner receives quality education in a safe and nurturing environment.
