Part II | The Ultimate Battle of Critical Thinking

The OLMAI Math Club proudly conducted the highly anticipated Sudoku and Rubik's Cube Competition, where students from the elementary and high school departments went head-to-head in a battle of logic and strategy. In these events, speed, dexterity, and logical thinking collided. However, they were not just about solving puzzles, but also showcasing the students' ability to think critically, adapt to challenges, and persevere.

Part I | Lights, Camera, Math!

The OLMAI Math Club presented an exciting film viewing event for students in Grades 7 to 9. Just like the previously conducted film viewing for Grade 10 and senior high school students, we indulged in an educational movie that combined entertainment and mathematics in a captivating way. From mind-bending puzzles to fascinating mathematical concepts, the film promised to ignite curiosity and inspire students to see math in a whole new light.

Additionally, this entails the students' task to create different outputs: a photo essay for the senior high school and a poster slogan for the junior high school.

Kick-starting the Math Culmination Month's Activities, the OLMAI Math Club organized a Film-viewing event today, February 22, 2024, for Grades 10, 11, and 12.

By hosting this event, the Math Club aspires to foster a profound appreciation for mathematics among the students. The carefully selected films served as powerful channels to showcase the practical applications of mathematical principles in real life. Through captivating storytelling and real-world examples, students gained valuable insights into how mathematics transcends traditional classroom settings and permeates many aspect of our lives.
