THSCDCian Students Capture Top Spots in Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 Competitions

Taysan, Batangas โ€” August 12, 2026. THSCDCian students proudly showcased their knowledge, confidence, and skills during the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 competitions held at the Municipal Hall 2nd Building.

In the Quiz Bee Competition, Adriana Jesusa Arellano of Taysan High School and Child Development Center, Inc. earned 2nd Runner-Up, bringing pride and honor to the THSCDC community. She was coached by Mr. Ryan Dave Alon, whose guidance and support contributed to her outstanding performance.

Meanwhile, Jamaica Alcantara, Mary Xyza Arnaiz, Denielle Grace Manumbali, and Mark Clarence Comia, coached by Ms. Zaira Rapa, secured 1st Runner-Up in the Debate Competition. Their strong arguments, teamwork, and confidence demonstrated the remarkable potential of THSCDCian students.

TAYSAN, Batangas โ€” August 7, 2026 โ€” Student journalists of Taysan High School and Child Development Center, Inc. officially kicked off the Session 1 of the School-Based Online Journalism Training on August 7, 2026. The training was facilitated by School Paper Coordinator, Mr. Ryan Alon, who introduced the fundamentals of campus journalism and emphasized the importance of accuracy, ethics, critical thinking, and responsible news writing in preparation for the upcoming District Press Conference.

The activity aims to enhance the participants' journalistic skills, develop their confidence in various writing categories, and inspire them to become truthful and responsible campus journalists.
