Division Monitoring Team Visits Talolong Elementary School, Strengthens Support for Quality Education
The Division Monitoring Team visited the school to monitor the implementation of school programs and provide technical assistance aimed at improving the quality of teaching and learning.
One of the key areas reviewed during the visit was learner performance, particularly in reading and numeracy. The team examined assessment results, learner progress, and intervention programs to identify strengths and areas that require further support. The discussions emphasized the importance of strengthening foundational literacy and numeracy skills to improve learners' overall academic performance.
The monitoring team also assessed the availability and utilization of learning resources. While existing instructional materials continue to support classroom instruction, the school highlighted the need for additional books and reference materials in English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science, Araling Panlipunan, EsP, MAPEH, and EPP/TLE to further enrich the teaching and learning process.
Recommendations focused on enhancing instructional strategies, improving learner assessment, strengthening reading and numeracy interventions, and maximizing the use of available learning resources.
The monitoring concluded with a shared commitment between the Division Monitoring Team and the school to continuously improve learner outcomes through collaboration, quality instruction, and adequate educational resources.
