“Teach us to number our days…” — Psalm 90:12

We can waste time, spend time, or invest time. As parents, we are given something precious that we can never get back—TIME.

Our children may not remember every gift we gave them, but they will remember the moments we shared, the conversations we had, the lessons we taught, and most importantly, the faith we lived out before them.

Let’s be intentional with our time and use every moment to build faith, shape character, and point our children to Christ. 🙏

After our weekly flag ceremony, our children come together for Chapel Hour—a special time set apart to listen to God’s Word and learn how to respond to it with the right heart and behavior. 📖❤️

Unlike the daily devotions in our Learning Centers, Chapel Hour gives our children the opportunity to practice sitting attentively, listening respectfully, and behaving properly as God’s Word is taught.

Because learning God’s Word is not only about hearing—it’s also about learning to listen, obey, and live it out.

When we truly love God, we don’t just say it—we show it through the way we listen, follow, and obey His Word. Every act of obedience is a simple way of saying, “Lord, I love You.”

Let’s teach our children that obedience is more than following rules—it’s an expression of a heart that loves God. 💛

Throughout the month of August and into the first week of September, our PFCA Parenting Class has been a meaningful time of learning, reflection, and encouragement for our parents. 📖✨

As parents, we may not always have all the answers, but we can continually seek God’s wisdom and allow His Word to guide our homes. When parents grow closer to Christ, the whole family can grow together.

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

May we continue to build homes founded on faith, love, truth, prayer, and the Word of God.
