Ang araw na ito ay pagkakataon upang alalahanin at bigyang-pugay ang kanyang mga ambag sa bayan at ang kanyang mahalagang papel sa kasaysayan ng ating bansa.

PUBLIC ADVISORY | SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

Alinsunod sa rekomendasyon ng mga kinauukulang ahensya at bilang pag-iingat sa kaligtasan ng lahat, suspendido ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Lungsod ng Tayabas ngayong Martes, Agosto 18, 2026.

Kaugnay nito, gagamitin ang asynchronous modalities sa mga paaralan upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na pag-aaral ng mga mag-aaral.

Bunsod ito ng patuloy na banta ng masamang panahon dulot ng Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na manatiling nakatutok at sundin ang mga abiso ng lokal na pamahalaan, at iba pang kinauukulang ahensya.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 17

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 127, government offices are directed to shift to appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces starting 12:00 noon on August 17, 2026:

📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Cavite
📍 Batangas
📍 Rizal
📍 Laguna
📍 Quezon
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

DIS Conducts Faculty Orientation on Children and Adolescent Risk Screener (CARS)

Dapdap Integrated School successfully conducted an orientation on the Children and Adolescent Risk Screener (CARS) today, August 10, from 9:00 to 10:00 in the morning via Google Meet, as classes were shifted to modular learning due to inclement weather. The orientation was attended by faculty members, particularly class advisers.

The session was facilitated by the school’s Guidance Designates, Ma’am Evangelyn T. Jacela from the Secondary Department and Ma’am Cornelia N. Castillo from the Elementary Department, with the guidance of the school head, Dr. Mary Grace M. Cabili. The orientation provided teachers with essential knowledge and skills to administer CARS effectively, ensuring that learners at risk of behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges are identified early and given appropriate support.

Moreover, it was emphasized during the orientation that the use of CARS is vital in promoting student welfare and academic success. By enabling early detection, the tool allows educators to provide timely interventions, foster holistic support, and maintain a safe and nurturing school environment.

This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to safeguarding the well-being of its learners while strengthening its role in promoting both academic excellence and emotional resilience.
