Playing word games can improve various brain skills such as problem-solving, memory, cognition, and creativity. They can also help reduce the risk of dementia. Word games can also have a positive impact on improving your vocabulary and spelling.
In line with the Division Memorandum No. 227, S.2024, Malao-a/Calantas Elementary School conducts a scrabble tournament. All grade levels participate in the said activity. Key stage 1 also shows their skills in word recognition likewise Key Stage 2 shows their skills in spelling and vocabulary recognition.
