Stepping beyond the four corners of the classroom and into the world of pharmacy practice. ✨

On May 29, 2026, held at the AVR-Library 2nd Floor, the 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 together with their parents attended the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬’ 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. The program formally opened with the opening remarks of the OIC-Dean, Ms. Kathrizza Mabutas, followed by the discussion led by the Internship Coordinator, Ms. Jirah Denille Reyes.

The two-hour orientation was filled with 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔, 𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 that will guide the interns as they begin their professional journey in their respective internship sites. Topics discussed highlighted the responsibilities, expectations, and experiences that will help shape them into future pharmacists committed to service and excellence.

The event concluded with an open forum actively participated in by the parents, with questions answered by Ms. Kathrizza Mabutas and Ms. Roma Joy Esteban-Santos, one of the preceptors for the Community Pharmacy Internship Site.

Now formally presenting the different pharmacy schools from across the country that sent their most skilled and compassionate student pharmacists, together with their dedicated coaches, to take on a variety of cases. Each team showcased excellence in pharmaceutical care, where every interaction reflected not only knowledge, but also empathy, critical thinking, and a deep commitment to the practice of pharmacy 💊📚💙.
