The Guidance and Counseling Unit under the Student Welfare Services successfully conducted the S.A.L.T. Seminar with the theme: Self-Awareness, Appreciation for Others, Loving God, and Transformation for the Fourth Year College of Industrial Technology Graduating Students last May 15, 2026, at TSU CCS AVR.
The seminar became a meaningful opportunity for the students to reflect, grow, and prepare themselves as they take the next step toward their future endeavors. Through inspiring discussions and engaging activities, participants were encouraged to deepen their self-awareness, appreciate others, strengthen their faith, and embrace positive transformation.
The Guidance and Counseling Unit also extends its sincere appreciation to the resource speakers, Ms. Precious Anne Joy Peรฑero and, Rev. Dr. Matt Anthony Antonio, for sharing valuable insights and inspiring words that greatly contributed to the success and impact of the seminar.
Special thanks are also extended to the university officials and administrators for their unwavering support and presence during the event: President Dr. Jasper Jay N. Mendoza, Former SAS Director Dr. Gladie Natherine G. Cabanizas, Assistant Director for Student Welfare Services Dr. Rosanna E. Pablico, Former Dean of CIT Engr. Larry A. Suboc, Former Associate Dean and College Chairperson Prof. Federico M. Estrada Jr. and the organizer of the event, Guidance Counselor of CIT Ms. Driny Genne M. Gacad-Alejo together with the Associate Guidance Counselor, Ms. Katrine Jane S. Concepcion.
Special appreciation is likewise extended to the CIT Faculty Members, Guidance and Counseling Unit staff, Peer Facilitators' Circle, and dedicated OJTs, whose hard work, cooperation, and commitment helped make the seminar successful and meaningful for all participants.
