ADVISORY: ECC SHIFT TO ONLINE CLASSES ON AUGUST 19, 2026 (WEDNESDAY)

In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 129 issued by the Office of the President, and to ensure the continuity of learning, Ecumenical Christian College (ECC) shall shift to online classes on August 19, 2026.

Synchronous and asynchronous online classes shall be conducted, with appropriate learning tasks and activities to be provided by the teachers.

We encourage everyone to stay safe and continue to monitor official ECC announcements for further updates.

𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐃𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒

Greetings of grace and peace!
Regarding the recent bomb threat incidents we have read about on social media that caused alarm and disruption to classes, office work, and services, please be informed that the following actions have been taken to ensure the safety and security of the members of the ECC family.

An emergency meeting with the key persons in both academic departments was conducted on June 23, 2026, to discuss protocols to address fortuitous incidents during ongoing classes such as fire, earthquake, or bomb threats.

The School Disaster Risk Reduction and Prevention Committee of each academic department was revisited. The role of the teams in the committee and protocols were reviewed, emergency hotline numbers were updated, and evacuation areas were identified.

Appropriate advice was given to the Facility Custodians to strengthen security measures. Meetings with teachers were held immediately to disseminate information and raise awareness.

In the coming days, evacuation drills will be conducted to prepare and ensure the safety of pupils/students during fortuitous events.

All teachers, learners, administrative staff, parents, and guardians are called to remain calm in the midst of unforeseen incidents or emergencies.

We pray for ECC’s protection from malicious intent and acts that will compromise the safety and well-being of everyone.
