TARLAC CITY โ In a significant move toward improving campus health and hygiene, the Tarlac City Water District (TCWD) officially turned over a brand-new handwashing facility and a 4-seater comfort room to Alvindia-Aguso High School (AAHS) today.
The ceremony marks a milestone for the school, as AAHS becomes the 39th institution to benefit from this ongoing corporate social responsibility project by the TCWD. The initiative aims to provide students with better access to clean water and sanitation facilities, fostering a safer learning environment.
The turnover of the 4-seater comfort room and handwashing station represents a major sanitation milestone for the school, specifically designed to cater to the growing student population and ensure that hygiene remains a top priority in their daily lives. By receiving these facilities, AAHS officially joins a growing legacy of partnership, becoming the 39th institution in the city to be transformed by the Tarlac City Water Districtโs steadfast commitment to community welfare and public health.
During the formal turnover, leaders from both the utility and the school expressed their commitment to the welfare of the youth:
"This project is more than just infrastructure; it is our investment in the health and dignity of our students. We are proud to see Alvindia-Aguso High School as the 39th partner in this mission."
โ Dir. Alexander D. Pascual, TCWD Chairman
Dr. Jolie M. Intal, Principal III of Alvindia-Aguso High School, accepted the facilities on behalf of the faculty and students. In her message of gratitude, Dr. Intal highlighted the deeper significance of the turnover, emphasizing that beyond the physical structures, this event marks the beginning of a new friendship formed between the school community and the water districtโa partnership rooted in shared goals for student well-being.
