โIt Was Worth Waiting Forโ: SJDMES Athletes Shine at Municipal Sports Meet 2026
San Juan De Moriones ES - 106643 proudly celebrates the remarkable performance of its young athletes during the Municipal Sports Meet 2026, bringing home an impressive 5 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
The achievement is a testament to the athletesโ determination, perseverance, discipline, and teamwork. After months of preparation and anticipation, their hard work finally paid offโtruly proving that โIt was worth waiting for.โ
๐ Outstanding Performances
Sander Bjay Pascua delivered an outstanding performance, securing 1st Place in Long Jump and 1st Place in High Jump.
Jake Limbania emerged victorious in the 800m Run, earning 1st Place, while also placing 2nd in the 1500m Run.
Ayessa Nicole Peregrino captured 1st Place in High Jump and 3rd Place in Triple Jump. She also placed 4th in Shot Put.
Yves Pasuquin earned 1st Place in Javelin Throw, showcasing strength and precision.
Ethan John Morales secured 2nd Place in Javelin Throw and 4th Place in the 1500m Run.
Mary Anne Pineda achieved 2nd Place in the 400m Run, while also finishing 6th in Shot Put.
Cris Dharianne Gragasin earned 3rd Place in High Jump, along with 5th Place in Discus Throw.

The SJDMES relay teams also demonstrated exceptional teamwork:
4x100m Relay โ 2nd Place: Jake, E-jay, Ethan & Yves
4x400m Relay โ 3rd Place: Jake, Ethan, E-jay & Vincent
4x100m Relay โ 4th Place: Ayessa, Mary Anne, Hanna Clouie & Honeylyn
Other notable finishes included Rhiane Jane โ 4th in Triple Jump, Jake โ 6th in Long Jump, Zian Kurt โ 6th in Discus Throw, and other commendable performances from the SJDMES delegation.
Behind every medal and every achievement are athletes who refused to give up, coaches and mentors who continued to guide them, and a school community that stood firmly behind them.
