Theme: “Hinabing Kalinangan, Masaganang Kinabukasan: Pagsasakapangyarihan sa mga Katutubong Pamayanan bilang Saligan ng Likas Kayang Kaunlaran”

The afternoon event highlighted the Ginoong at Binibining Katutubo 2025, a celebration of culture, identity, and confidence among Indigenous students. Each contestant proudly represented their tribe and heritage, proving that true beauty and strength come from cultural authenticity and pride.

☘️✨ DAY 2 | INDIGENOUS PEOPLES MONTH CELEBRATION 2025 ✨☘️

The second day of our celebration, held on October 22,2025, was filled with meaningful learning, creative expression, and cultural pride! 💛❤️💚

📚 Morning Session
Atty. Gabriell Kenth D. Hayashi led an insightful Seminar on the Indigenous Peoples Rights Act (IPRA), sharing his expertise on the protection, empowerment, and rights of Indigenous Peoples. His talk deepened our understanding and appreciation of the IP community’s role in preserving cultural identity. 🙌

🎨 Afternoon Activities
The afternoon came alive with passion and creativity as our IP and marginalized students showcased their talents through Spoken Word Poetry, Storytelling, Slogan Making, and Poster Making Contests.

✨Day 1: IP Month Celebration Opening! ✨

A colorful and meaningful opening of Indigenous Peoples (IP) Month Celebration with the theme: " Hinabing kalinangan, Masaganang Kinabukasan: Pagsasakapangyarihan sa mga katutubong Pamayanan bilang Saligan ng Likas-Kayang Kaunlaran" held on October 21, 2025 at TSU Lucinda Campus. The event highlighted the importance of empowering indigenous communities as the foundation of sustainable development. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed guests and partners who made the celebration more meaningful through their presence and support: Dr. Maria Elena David- Director of CPIPRD, Dr. Jasper Jay Mendoza- representing Dr. Dexter L. Manzano, Dr. Brigido Corpuz-representing President Arnold Velasco, Engr. Marcial Lengao from NCIP Office, Mr. Dax Timbol from Tarlac Tourism Office, Hon. Ronald M. Rivera, Fr. Elmer Victoria, Ms. Marilyn Masagana, Prof. Douglas Ferrer- Director of OCAL, Sir Franc Lewis R. Juanatas, Sir Christian Jose M. David and Mr. Allan S. Santos-Head Adviser of IDIMSS TSU.
