SPTA reports Mid-Year Accomplishment

Hon. Jovelyn Navarro, SPTA president, presented their mid-year accomplishment report during the 2nd quarter SPTA Meeting.

SPTA has been very supportive to the school activities from food feeding, ARAL program, Brigada Eskwela, Teachers’ Day Celebration and other school projects, programs and activities.

Moreover, Dr. May Avelino, school principal, motivate parents to support learners’ activities and school programs.

Furthermore, Ma’am Lynneth Mariz Catalan, junior high school reading coordinator, gave updates on the ARAL program implementation. She also encouraged parents to support and encourage the learners to participate in the said program.

However, Hon. Mark Campos, SGC elected president, gave his inspiring message to the parents and committed to give his full support to the programs and activities of school.

SGC, SPTA discuss learners’, teachers’, school’s concern

School Governance Council and School Parent-Teacher Association raised their concerns to address problems and improve quality education of Tibag High School.

Different organization such as SSLG, SPTA, SGC, religious group, discipline officer, guidance counselor, administration, health officer, and faculty and staff officers join the meeting to discuss and address the identified problems.

However, Dr. May Avelino, school principal presented her accomplishment reports from the start of her administration, while Hon. Jovelyn Navarro discussed the accomplishment report of the SPTA.

In addition, different concerns were raised such as the activities of SSLG, Precious Pacheco, SSLG president explained their accomplishment report.

Furthermore, our guidance counselor, Joan Maninang, reiterated to the teachers about the child protection policy and also requested to the barangay officials present in the meeting to provide discount for the barangay clearance needed by the senior high school learners for their work immersion, she also informed them about the medical check-up and certificate requirement of the SHS learners of THS.

Moreover, Khristine Vidad, faculty president discussed her concern on the safety of teachers and learners in terms of transportation.

The said meeting ended with an inspirational message and peldge of support from the SGC elected president Hon. Mark Campos.

Planning of SGC with the Brgy. Council headed by Hon. Jay-ar Navarro, chairperson of Tibag High School together with our SGC Elected Chairperson, Hon.
