Lent to Easter 2026
From Ash Wednesday (February 18, 2026) to Easter Sunday (April 5, 2026), the Church journeys through a sacred season of prayer, fasting, and charity. Lent prepares our hearts through reflection and repentance, leading us into Holy Week, where we remember Christ’s Passion, Death, and Resurrection.
Beginning with Palm Sunday, we walk with Jesus toward the Cross and celebrate the joy of new life at Easter — the triumph of light over darkness and hope over despair.
Let us journey together in faith as one Catholic Church.

The primary purpose of inclusive education in the Philippines is to ensure that all learners, particularly those with disabilities (LWDs) and marginalized backgrounds, have equitable access to quality education within the regular school system. It aims to eliminate exclusion, promote social justice, and foster a welcoming, diverse environment.
Key purposes include:
Equal Access to Education: Implementing RA 11650 to ensure children with disabilities are not excluded, providing specialized support within mainstream classrooms.
Fostering Inclusion & Diversity: Creating a school culture that embraces diversity and breaks down barriers, teaching acceptance to all students.
Social and Cognitive Growth: Improving the self-esteem and social skills of learners with special needs while promoting empathy and collaboration among regular education learners.
Reaching Full Potential: Providing customized learning materials and training for teachers to support diverse learning needs, ensuring all children can learn side-by-side.
Increasing Participation: Serving as a strategy to boost enrollment rates by making schools accessible to children who have traditionally been excluded.
This approach transforms the education system from one of separation to one that values the contribution of every learner, fostering a more compassionate society.
