Calling All Future Mandarin Learners!

We are pleased to announce that enrolment for qualified applicants for Grade 7 and learners in Grades 8–10 will begin on May 04, 2026 onwards (except Fridays).

Good news! We are also still accepting applicants for screening.

Release the dragons and lions, the lunar new year is here! 🐲🦁

Chinese New Year, or 新年快乐 (Xīnnián kuàilè) in Chinese, 🏮 is a celebration of welcoming prosperity and good beginnings for the new year. It is one of the most significant traditional celebrations in Chinese culture. It is based on the lunar calendar and usually falls between January and February. 🗓️ Each year is represented by one of the twelve zodiac animals, and this year is the Year of the Horse, 🐎 symbolizing strength, energy, and success.

This SPFL event, held yesterday, February 16, 2026, highlights the importance of Chinese traditions and culture. 🇨🇳 From the vibrant dragon and lion dances, 🐲🦁 engaging activities and competitions, ✒️🥟 to the exhibits that showcase the beauty and richness of Chinese heritage, 👘 the celebration truly reflects the spirit of unity, prosperity, and cultural appreciation.

谢谢您 for your unwavering support, we sincerely express our gratitude to our Principal IV, Dr. Yolanda M. The SPFL Chinese Mandarin students of TNHS brightened the day with their vibrant celebration of the 𝗠𝗶𝗱-𝗔𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 on October 10, 2025! 🥮☀️

Students showcased their talents through a short play and Chinese cultural dances, highlighting the spirit of unity and friendship that this festival represents. 💫

Congratulations to the winners of the 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻⭐, the 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁🖼️, the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗲👘 awards, and the 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝘁 challenge!🥮
