Search for Ms. Babaylan 2026 Celebrates Women’s Strength and Leadership β™€οΈπŸ’

In celebration of Women’s Month, Tarlac West Central Elementary School successfully held the Search for Ms. Babaylan 2026, highlighting the wisdom, courage, and leadership of young Filipinas through the theme β€œLead Like a Babaylan, Filipinas.”

The program opened with an inspiring message from Mrs. Bernadette P. Valencia, Head Teacher of TWCES. This was followed by a short story presentation about the Babaylan prepared by the learners. The candidates from Grades 4 to 6 confidently showcased their advocacies which reflects the spirit of a Babaylan.

The event was evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges composed of Ma'am Miriam Ruth Capulong, Ma'am Ma. Heidi Fajardo-Adi, and Ma'am Roumairah Kapli. The program was hosted by Ms. Thea Monte, intern of Ma’am Faith Lacson, and Ms. Francine Palencia, intern of Ma’am Isabel Ocampo.

During the awarding ceremony, three (3) special awards were presented, along with the proclamation of 3 winners for Little Miss Babaylan and 3 winners for Ms. Babaylan under the Intermediate Level, recognizing the outstanding confidence, advocacy, and leadership shown by the candidates.

The celebration served as a meaningful reminder that every young Filipina has the potential to lead, inspire, and make a difference in the community.
