The Tarlac State University - College of Criminal Justice Education (TSU-CCJE) recently conducted a seminar titled "Addressing Emerging Ethical Issues in the Use of Technologies" for the dedicated teachers of Armenia Integrated School (AIS).

Led by Atty. Luisito L. Pasigon, CCJE faculty member, along with technical facilitators Mr. Jairus C. Soriano and Ms. Girlie L. Bautista, the seminar is part of AIS's Gender and Development (GAD) initiative.

This insightful session aimed to raise awareness and provide practical guidance on privacy, data security, inclusivity, and responsible technology use in both teaching and administrative tasks. As technology continues to shape education, fostering ethical digital practices is crucial in ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

The TSU-College of Criminal Justice Education recently hosted an insightful Seminar-Workshop on Republic Act No. 11313 at Armenia Integrated School, Brgy. Armenia, Tarlac City.

This event, led by Dr. Ramil M. Las-Igan as the resource speaker, with expert guidance from Dr. Roel R. Alviar, Dr. Jayson R. Felix, and Atty. Theodore M. Timpac, was designed to empower teachers, students, parents, and other stakeholders about the importance of RA 11313 in creating a safe and inclusive society.

Together, we took a vital step in promoting awareness and understanding of gender-based harassment and discrimination, and how we can contribute to a society where everyone feels respected and protected.

Tarlac State University - College of Criminal Justice Education Hosts "Bridge to Culture" Outreach Program in Sta. Juliana Elementary School

Tarlac State University - College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) held an outreach program titled "Bridge to Culture" on March 3, 2025, at Sta. Juliana Elementary School in Capas, Tarlac.

The event was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the CCJE faculty, the CCJE Student Council, the League of Young Criminologists, and La Veritas.

The primary goal of the program was to build a connection between the CCJE and the Indigenous People of Sta. Juliana, Capas, through simple activities that brought joy and support to the children.

The program featured an educational video presentation prepared by the CSC, followed by a reflection to the presented video.

Additionally, the children participated in fun games, and later on, distribution of food to the children.

The program concluded with a closing remarks expressing gratitude to the attendees of the program.

The primary goal of this extension service was to enhance participants' awareness and knowledge about the proper administration of first aid techniques.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬 𝐃. 𝐁𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐲, a faculty member at CCJE and experienced first aider, served as the resource speaker for the event. Assisting him was 𝐌𝐬. 𝐈𝐳𝐳𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐕. 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐨, also a part-time lecturer at CCJE, who acted as the technical facilitator.

This initiative was spearheaded by 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐃𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐋. 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞, barangay kagawad and Chairperson of the Committee on Health.
