β€œAT THE END OF THE DAY, THE MOST OVERWHELMING KEY TO A CHILD’S SUCCESS IS THE POSITIVE INVOLVEMENT OF PARENTS.
- Jane D. Hull

Maliwalo Central Elementary School held a Parent-Tutor Conference in relation to the implementation of the ARAL (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning) Program of the Department of Education last December 4, 2025.

The said meeting was participated by the Parents of the ARAL learners, with the comprehensive and interactive discussion of Mid-year Report of the Reading levels of our learners. The activity was spearheaded by our beloved Principal IV, Dr. Ronald I. Castro, head Teacher III, Sir Fidel A. Castro, English Leader, Mam Virginia C. Aguilar and our School Reading Coordinator Ma’am Tricia Gaye G. Ferrer.

Moreover, Dr. Ronald had presented an Innovation Project R.O.N.A.L.D. (Read, Observe, Nurture to Achieve Literacy Development), which is intended to build and provide Literacy Hubs in every classroom, a haven for improving the reading and comprehension skills of MCES learners. With the initiative of our teachers and cooperation of the parents, the said project can be achieved.

As we in MCES say, β€œAng bawat batang bumabasa ay masaya”, our Parents’ gladly replied, β€œKami ay kaisa!”

In support of the 18-Day Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) Campaign, the Maliwalo Central Elementary School is proudly holding its VAWC Walk to raise awareness and strengthen the advocacy to end all forms of abuse.

The activity is spearheaded by our school principal, Dr. Ronald I. Castro, together with the dedicated teachers and staff. Learners and some community members joined the walk wearing orange shirts, the official color of the campaign symbolizing hope and a brighter future without violence.

Participants carried meaningful placards, posters, and slogans, while wearing VAWC-themed wristbands to show unity and support for protecting the rights and dignity of women and children.

Together, we step forward for a safer, more caring community. πŸ’œπŸ§‘
