YTA Montessori math uses the golden dynamic bead materials; The Montessori golden bead work is amazing for helping children understand the decimal system! Once a child is able to build a visual representation of a number, the beads are used to teach basic operations. Young children are able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers into the thousands using these materials.

Let's talk about Math!

Math is normally considered as the most difficult subject in the country's Basic Education Curriculum (BEC). In Grade 1,students start hating it as teachers utilize rote memorization to teach addition and multiplication. The reverse of these operations, namely subtraction and division, only aggravates confusion.

Our YTA Montessori online classes engage in purposeful play to support and advance Mathematical learning. We integrate Math to play-based learning, children's home routines and activities to amplify their understanding and empower their engagement.
