Contemporary Philippine Arts from the Regions (CPAR) - Grade 12 Final Presentation 💃🏻
The Grade 12 students of Central Luzon High School of Paniqui Tarlac Inc. recently showcased their talents at various festivals as their final performance task. This event not only served as a platform for the students to exhibit their skills but also allowed them to be immersed in the different festivities and cultures in the country.
These festivals provided an opportunity for students to express themselves creatively and explore different art forms. It allowed them to step out of their comfort zones and discover hidden talents that they may not have known existed. The experience of performing in front of an audience also helped build confidence and self-esteem among the students.
The first performance represented the City of Smiles and its Masskara Festival. Followed by the group that represented the Panagbenga Festival also called the Baguio Flower Festival. The third performance was the presentation of the Ati-Atihan Festival dance in honor of the Sto. Niño in Kalibo, Aklan. And finally, the presentation of the ritual prayer dance of Cebu, the Sinulog Festival.
The presentation was assessed and evaluated by Ms. Shaira Santos, Mr. Chester Valenzuela, Mrs. Lailani Dorotayo, and Mr. Reynaldo Tugcay with their subject teacher Ms. Joanna Sheen Quizon.
