JNES Continues ARAL Summer Program 2026 During Second Week Implementation

Juan Navarro Elementary School (JNES) continuously implements the ARAL Summer Program 2026 as learners and tutors officially entered the second week of intervention classes from May 11–15, 2026.

The program, which began on May 6, 2026, remains focused on enhancing the reading and numeracy skills of learners through meaningful and engaging learning activities facilitated by the dedicated JNES teachers serving as ARAL tutors. Learners actively participate in daily sessions designed to strengthen foundational competencies and prepare them for the opening of School Year 2026–2027.

As the second week progresses, JNES expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Education for the availability and provision of learning materials for this year’s ARAL Summer Program. The accessible and well-prepared instructional materials have greatly assisted the tutors in delivering organized, effective, and learner-centered intervention activities.

The school also acknowledges the unwavering support of parents and guardians who continue to encourage their children to attend and participate actively in the summer program.

Under the leadership of School Head Dr. Mirasol T. Valencia, the teachers and staff of JNES remain steadfast in their commitment to helping learners recover and improve their academic performance through continuous guidance, intervention, and support.

JNES ARAL Tutors Conduct Home Visitations to Strengthen ARAL Summer Program 2026

In an effort to further intensify the implementation of the ARAL Summer Program 2026, the dedicated tutors of Juan Navarro Elementary School (JNES) conducted home visitations on May 8, 2026, to encourage continuous learner participation and strengthen partnership with parents and guardians.

The activity aimed to personally reach out to learners enrolled in the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Summer Program, particularly those who were absent during the first days of implementation. Through the home visitation, the tutors were able to explain the importance of the program in improving the reading and numeracy skills of learners in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Parents warmly welcomed the tutors and expressed their appreciation for the school’s effort in ensuring that no learner is left behind. The visitation also served as an avenue for the tutors to motivate learners, monitor their learning needs, and encourage parental support in the children’s educational journey.

The ARAL Summer Program, which officially started nationwide on May 6, 2026, is part of the Department of Education’s learning recovery initiatives aimed at helping learners achieve grade-level proficiency through targeted interventions in reading and mathematics.

Day 2 of the ARAL Summer Reading Program 2026 at Juan Navarro Elementary School was successfully conducted today, May 7, 2026. Learners actively participated in guided reading sessions together with their dedicated teacher-tutors, showing eagerness and improved confidence in reading.

With consistent attendance and support from our committed JNES teachers, the program continues to build stronger reading skills and a love for learning among our learners.

Young Readers Shine as JNES Opens ARAL Summer Reading Program 2026

Juan Navarro Elementary School officially launched the ARAL Summer Reading Program 2026 on May 6, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The program aims to strengthen the reading skills of participating learners through engaging and guided learning activities during the summer break.

The activity was attended by selected learners who eagerly participated in the opening day sessions facilitated by the dedicated teacher-tutors of JNES. Teachers served as tutors and mentors, providing learners with academic support and encouragement to improve their literacy skills.

The ARAL Summer Reading Program forms part of the Department of Education’s learning recovery initiatives to help learners enhance their foundational reading abilities in preparation for the upcoming school year. Guided by the leadership of Dr. Mirasol T. Valencia, School Head Teacher III, the school continues to promote quality education and meaningful learning opportunities for every learner.

JNES Holds Orientation for ARAL Summer Program 2026

Juan Navarro Elementary School conducted the Orientation for the ARAL Summer Program 2026 on May 5, 2026, attended by parents, learners, and teachers. The activity provided important information regarding the implementation of the summer program focused on Reading and Mathematics.

The orientation was facilitated by Madam Gwyneth A. Payumo, Madam Flora P. Payumo, and Madam Rosette C. Aquino. Parents and learners were encouraged to actively participate and support the program to strengthen the learners’ academic skills.

As a highlight of the orientation, School Head Dr. Mirasol T. Valencia announced that learners who will complete the entire 20-day ARAL Summer Program without any absences will receive a tray of eggs during the culminating activity as an incentive for their dedication and commitment.

The activity was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Mirasol T. Valencia, School Head Teacher III. The ARAL Summer Program officially started on May 6, 2026, and will continue until June 2, 2026.

Juan Navarro Elementary School Conducts Luncheon Meeting for an Exit Conference

Juan Navarro Elementary School (JNES) conducted a luncheon meeting on March 31, 2026, bringing together the school head, faculty, and staff, along with representatives from the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) and School Governing Council (SGC), as part of the Year-End Evaluation and Exit Conference for School Year 2025–2026.

The activity served as a formal venue for the review of the school’s accomplishments, challenges encountered, and best practices implemented throughout the academic year. During the meeting, members of the faculty, staff, and stakeholders engaged in meaningful discussions, providing insights and constructive feedback aimed at enhancing school programs and strengthening instructional delivery.

The school head presided over the conference, presenting key highlights of the school’s performance and acknowledging the collective efforts and contributions of the teaching and non-teaching personnel, as well as the continued support of stakeholders, in advancing the school’s goals and ensuring quality education.

Furthermore, the exit conference facilitated the identification of areas for improvement and the formulation of strategic plans for the forthcoming school year. It likewise underscored the importance of collaboration, professionalism, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement among all members of the school community.

Baccalaureate Mass Marks End of School Year with Thanksgiving Celebration

A solemn Baccalaureate Mass was held on March 27, 2026, at 9:00 in the morning at the covered area of Juan Navarro Elementary School, as part of the school’s closing activities for the School Year 2025–2026.

The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Anthony Tawatao, who led the thanksgiving for the entire school community, especially for the graduating Grade 6 learners. The mass served as a meaningful spiritual gathering, expressing gratitude for the blessings, guidance, and achievements throughout the school year.

Parents, learners, and teachers actively participated in the celebration, coming together in prayer and thanksgiving. The event emphasized unity and faith as the school community prepares to close the academic year and welcome new beginnings.

Special recognition was also given to the parents of Grade 6 Batch 2026, who served as the mass sponsor. Their support played a vital role in making the activity more meaningful and successful.

This yearly activity is part of the Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP) project spearheaded by Madam Gwyneth A. Payumo, reinforcing the importance of values, faith, and gratitude among learners.
