Ang mga seminarista ng Propaedeutic Stage ay nagtanghal upang maipakilala ang kanilang mga sarili sa isang malikhaing paraan sa pamamagitan ng sining ng pagiging isang makata.

Sa Gabi ng Makata, ipinamalas nila ang kanilang angking galing sa pagsasalita at paggamit ng Wikang Filipino. Sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga tula, pagpapahayag, at masining na pagtatanghal, naibahagi nila ang kanilang mga saloobin, karanasan, pangarap, at pananaw sa buhay. Higit pa sa husay sa pagbigkas ng mga salita, naipakita rin nila ang lalim ng kanilang pagkamalikhain, damdamin, at pagpapahalaga sa sariling wika.

Naging makabuluhang pagkakataon ang gabi upang higit nilang makilala ang isaโ€™t isa, mahasa ang kanilang kakayahan sa pagpapahayag, at maipakita na ang Wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang kasangkapan sa pakikipagtalastasan, kundi isang makapangyarihang daluyan ng kultura, pagkakakilanlan, at puso ng bawat makata.

The Team of Formators of Our Lady of Peace College Seminary conducted a benchmarking visit at Saint Vincent School of Theology as part of its continuing effort to strengthen and enrich the seminaryโ€™s program of priestly formation. The visit provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, practices, and insights with another institution dedicated to the formation of future priests.

Benchmarking is important because the formation of priests is a shared ecclesial responsibility. No institution can undertake the task of priestly formation by itself. While each seminary has its own context, charism, and formation practices, it benefits greatly from learning from and collaborating with other institutions that share the same mission. Through dialogue, mutual learning, and the exchange of best practices, seminaries can continually evaluate their approaches and respond more effectively to the changing needs of the Church and of those preparing for the priesthood.

The benchmarking visit to Saint Vincent School of Theology thus served not only as an opportunity for professional enrichment but also as a reminder that priestly formation flourishes through communion, collaboration, and shared responsibility. By working together, institutions of priestly formation can help one another grow and, ultimately, better serve the Church in forming priests who are mature in faith, committed to service, and equipped to accompany the People of God.

Ang Propaedeutic Year Seminarians ay naghanda ng isang Food Expo sa komunidad ng OLPCS para ibida ang pagkaing Filipino.

Hindi lang tungkol sa pagkain ang Pagkaing Pinoy Expo, kundi tungkol din sa pagsasalo-salo, pagbabahagi, at pagkakaisa. Sa bawat pagkaing pinagsaluhan, may kuwentong nabuo, tawanan, at mga alaala na mas naging makabuluhan dahil sama-sama nating naranasan.

Sa simpleng pagkain, natutunan din natin na ang tunay na sarap ay hindi lamang nasa handa sa mesa, kundi nasa samahan ng bawat isa. Tulad ng kulturang Pilipino, mas nagiging makulay ang buhay kapag tayo ay marunong magbahagi at magmalasakit sa isaโ€™t isa.

The seminarians of Our Lady of Peace College Seminary gathered for their monthly recollection, a sacred pause from the rhythm of formation to look inward, listen deeply, and rediscover themselves in the light of Christ.

Guided by Rev. Fr. Estelito โ€œLitoโ€ G. Gamboa Jr., the recollection invited the seminarians to reflect on who they are, to recognize their strengths and struggles, and to see their lives not merely through their own eyes, but through the loving gaze of Christ.

In the silence of reflection, may we learn that truly knowing ourselves is also an invitation to know the One who calls us by name.

The Propaedeutic Year Department celebrated Priests' Day during its Coffee Break gathering, where the seminary fathers shared their vocation stories, memories from their years as seminarians, and experiences in the ministry of priestly formation.

Through their inspiring vocation stories, the propaedeutic seminarians were reminded that every vocation is a journey of grace, sacrifice, and faithful response to God's call. The gathering became a meaningful opportunity to deepen appreciation for the priesthood and to honor the dedicated priests who continue to form future shepherds of the Church.
