Face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private schools within the City of Imus are suspended tomorrow, August 17, 2026, as a precautionary measure in preparation for the continuing rainfall intensified by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Schools are also expected to immediately implement Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) or other appropriate blended learning modalities to ensure the continuity of learning among students.

Everyone is encouraged to remain indoors whenever possible, stay vigilant, and continue monitoring official announcements and weather advisories for everyone’s safety.

To ensure the safety and well-being of students, faculty, and staff amid the continuing rainfall, classes at all levels in both public and private schools within the City of Imus are suspended today, August 13, 2026, from 3:00 PM onwards.

In light of the prevailing weather conditions, everyone is strongly encouraged to prioritize their safety, remain at home whenever possible, and continue monitoring official announcements and advisories from the City Government of Imus and other concerned authorities.

Students are also advised to coordinate with their respective schools regarding proper and safe dismissal procedures.

Daniel, your down-to-earth nature and clever sense of humor bring a refreshing energy to every conversation, reminding everyone that even amidst responsibilities and busy days, there is always room for a good laugh and a little lightheartedness.

Beyond your easygoing personality, you are also someone who takes your responsibilities to heart. As our Secretary General, your diligence, hard work, and commitment play an important role in keeping the council organized and moving forward. You consistently give your best in every task entrusted to you, showing the kind of dedication and reliability that your fellow council members can count on.

Please be guided by Office Memorandum No. 01s. 2026 regarding the updated uniform policy. Starting August 17, 2026, all continuing students are required to wear the complete prescribed school uniform while attending classes and whenever inside the campus premises.

The Province of Cavite is also currently under a State of Calamity due to the continuing effects of heavy rainfall and flooding. In light of this situation, everyone is strongly encouraged to remain at home whenever possible, prioritize their safety, and continue monitoring official announcements and advisories from the City Government of Imus and other concerned authorities.
